So Sup Forums, what would make ES6 a good game?
>return to more traditional RPG character building
>no enemy or item scaling, make some areas dangerous for low level characters
>magic system more like Morrowind
>weightier combat
>make speech skills matter
>reward exploration with rare loot and weapons
>survival mode
>greater player agency and decisions with consequences
>make the races feel different
>improved engine

why are they raking the water and not leaves?
Copy breath of the wild but improve things. Include a good cross platform modAPI at launch.
>raking the water
they're raking rice, you absolute faggot
Not made by Bethesda
Better grafx
Sorry to be a graphics bitch but Beth Beth needs help on their visuals.
Paid mods
TESVI is going to be bad beyond your wildest dreams. Its going to be worse than skyrim and worse than fallout 4. It will be skyrim 2, and will improve on nothing skyrim had done right. It will be made with the widest fucking audience in mind and it will win GOTY.
Rice exists in the TES universe?
I know, but please for the love of god humor my pathetic fantasy so I can pretend I have something to look forward to. Let’s dream a beautiful dream together.
If it has the same engine, I will not buy that shit
I didn't buy skyrim, and I won't buy this one.
>paid mods
Every other common fruit and veggie exists, why not rice?
What is rice anyway? It’s not a seed
Grain, technically atleast.
TES6 is going to be the game that puts the Elder Scrolls universe into a terminal state.
Saltrice does in morrowind and these look like argonian slaves.
If they don't ruin the lore I'll like it anyway.
user, abandon hope. You only hurt yourself.
Pete Hines' head on a stick.
>argonian
Reminder that TES VI will not support mods outside of the creation engine. The SDKs will only be distributed to select people. Loading unsigned code with be expressly forbidden and bannable (the game will be linked to your Bethesda net account so they can do this). It will marginally hurt their sales but the be extremely popular regardless through aiming at the lowest common denominator and the growing market, and this will become accepted practice. There is nothing you can do to stop this.
I want it to have enough depth that it repels normies.
>That they make a elder scrolls 6.
I want the player character to have the chance to achieve CHIM.
>stats system from Oblivion
>controls from Oblivion
>spells from Oblivion
>hand-to-hand combat like in Mount & Blade
>send concept artists and modelers to armour workshops to learn how armour actually fits on the body and functions
>no giant paddle weapons
>more farms and fishing villages
>stick to the lore more
>more quests built around character arcs and progression, like the DB in Skyrim was
>bigger towns
>more pointless strangers that aren't important, have no names and flesh out the world
>no quest markers
>short dialogues that tell you where to go and what to do
>no smithing new items
>bring back weapon and armour degrading but make it happen slower
>repair is done at smithing forges
>bring back blades and blunt
>swords can be buffed by sharping on the wheel and the buff lasts until the blade is dulled by use in battle
>add sparring with NPC trainers for weapon and armour xp outside of real combat
You're delusional as fuck if you think TES6 is going to have any of that lol.
S-stop...P-please, it hurts so much
Good.
I'll make and sell some shitty ERP mods. They'll sell like literally hotcakes.
>Rice exists in the TES universe?
Cyrodiil originally was jungle with a rice based economy.
Skyrim already did but alright.
Also more than sure the MMO has taken creative liberties with the lore.
FUCKABLE
ARGONIANS
You need to sell through Bethesda, faggot, and they won't let you.
>x GAME RUINED THE LORE!!!
>REEE RAAA ROOO RUUUU STOP HAVING FUN!
Neck yourself.
What in the fuck is that picture all about?
What would TES be like if it was made by Obsidian?
>spears
Just bring back spellcrafting. Have the unique effects from Skyrim selectable as 'vectors' or whatever for your spell, with different costs.
My literal only wish is that they dont insert SJW shit into it like they did with the new Wolfenstein.
>Old wolfenstein
>hey slaughtering dirty nazis is pretty fun
>yep that was fun, the end
>new wolfenstein
>hey slaughtering nazis is fun
>MMM HMM, YOU BEST NOT BE A NAZI BOY. FUCKIN CRACKA ASS WYPIPO - t. epitome of black woman stereotype
>REEEEEEEE IM NOT A NAZI!!!!!!! - t. typical timblrina
>hey y-you uh.. white ass (wait arent I white?) fascist nazi.. pigs? - t. blowhard blackedowitz
>fucking prego acrobatics and dual wielding machine guns
what the actual fuck.
why wish for a game that won’t even come out, when you can just wish for an hd remake of a pre-existing one with all the dlc attached and a price that will jew you out of your own money?
Skyrim did not ruin the lore. People who say this don't know what they're talking about.
It's a still from the Civ VI trailer.
>>return to more traditional RPG character building
HAHAHA
>>no enemy or item scaling, make some areas dangerous for low level characters
hahaha
>>magic system more like Morrowind
BAHAHAHA
>>weightier combat
Yeah whatever maybe
>>make speech skills matter
pfft
>>reward exploration with rare loot and weapons
Oh we intend to do that for you simpletons
>>survival mode
mods ($) will fix it
>>greater player agency and decisions with consequences
And lose the CoD audience?
>>make the races feel different
See above.
>>improved engine
You've gone too far.
vampire less shitter
oblivion-like
Good except for weapon and armor durability. Personally I think durability adds an annoying chore to the game for the sake of an artificial layer of realism that doesn’t improve the game much at all
Except someone with more experience will make an even better lewd mod and you will sell absolutely fucking nothing at all because people are now being told to pay and will only pay for quality.
Unless you're making the next CBBE or RUNP mod that goes over-and-beyond autism, you can forget it with your pleb tier skills.
Coming out before I fucking die of old age, for a start.
i’d love to see es6 as a switch exclusive which is the best current gen console. everyone knows pc is failing and nobody wants fake games so yeah i mean enjoy your early access trash but let’s move on from a failed experiment already
>The guilds and side quests in Skyrim suck.
>Cities and environments are lackluster too.
>RPG elements are almost non-existent.
I want these points to be addressed.
Skyrim treated the lore fine. Skyrim (the province) was a bit toned down but that's about the only problem.
t. lorefag who hates skyrim as a game
Skip combat button. They never got it right so I’m hoping they listen to the journalists.
The return of Mehrunes Dagon and Oblivion gates
Its like you want the series to be rehashed crap.
Oblivion had it.
>enemy armour degrades when you hit it
>re-balance looting so that leather strips aren't nearly as valuable as gold necklaces
>more enemy weapons not worth looting
>bag and knapsack system for inventory and carrying things
>no swords or staffs stuck to people's backs when not in use
>spears
>throwing spears
>food does not refill health
>potions require a drinking animation being completed to have an effect
>potions/spells/race ability all go in the Oblivion style casting slot
>no dual wielding
>ability to bring more followers depending on speech skill
it looks fucking creepy and weird, jesus.
>improved engine
>Bethesda
Pick one and only one
i would like the maps to be more linear, but massive in scale for each area
as in multiple floors with mazes and shit or huge as fuck cities that have real impact, when traveling i wouldnt really care how massive the overworld was just as long as the dungeons, towns, etc were full of content
no more open nothing bullshit if its big put a lot of shit in it
more spells weapons and armor variations would be nice, not having to rely on the modding community to pick up the slack, actual stats that give real weight to what you use
no easy fast travel, if you want to go somewhere fast there can be a portal you can use or flight magic or some shit
i would like to see half breeds as an option in the creation menu giving more customization to characters or something like it
a much better guild system where you cant become grand master overnight
theres so much to list and we can all brainstorm all nigh but its gonna be more casualised than skyrim in the end
>Skyrim treated the lore fine. Skyrim (the province) was a bit toned down but that's about the only problem.
It was more than a bit toned down. They completely revamped the religion, made the Jarls into petty bureaucrats, made the weather climate and economy different and generally made it more generic medieval with a Norse flavour.
Hey man, someone said they would play any new elder scrolls as long as the lore was in tact.
Chances are the lore has been fucked with countless times over before a new game is released.
Happened to Fallout, Warcraft, and KotOR.
Literally all I want is an interesting magic system. I never fucking touched alteration or illusion because they were useless and based around buffing allies with fucking awful ai.
If destruction magic is elemental again with just slightly different shapes of the same shit I will officially lose all faith in ever playing a game with a magic system that feels good.
>i would like to see half breeds as an option in the creation menu giving more customization to characters or something like it
No such thing as halfbreeds in TES.
>Good except for weapon and armor durability. Personally I think durability adds an annoying chore to the game for the sake of an artificial layer of realism that doesn’t improve the game much at all
It would just be a part of the cycle where you go out and quest, then come back to a settlement with loot to sell and things to buy. By the time you get orcish or higher the repairs would be more and more infrequent.
For me, degrading armour would be a part of the looting overhaul. I want enemy armour to get damaged as you fight them. Taking a whole new set of armour from the dead would be more rare because you'd probably need to fix it and storing a bulky thing like that would be difficult.
I want to see enemy weapons break in combat. It's also exhilarating when your weapon breaks and you have to scramble to get a new one.
Looting is one of my favourite things
i would like to see a magic creation system where you can mix multiple spells from different schools to create new powerful or whacky ones
of course then a meta would come about and ruin it
Too bad. Make a custom class/race like in oblivion for you Oc bullshit.
The Jarls were never really protrayed as much in particular. Really the biggest problem is Dawnstar, beyond that it IS fairly minor. It's not like they went and turned an extremely, extremely unique and interesting setting
what about that orc in the arena in oblivion? i thought he was a half breed
if not then its fine the character creation needs a lot of work still
Do you also like putting your toys in a line and spinning in circles?
I unironically just want the ability to make nude lolis at the start.
If modders can have that within the month I'll be set. The rest can come later.
>no easy fast travel, if you want to go somewhere fast there can be a portal you can use or flight magic or some shit
Fast wagons or stage coaches that actually take you there would be good. It would also add the gameplay element of your wagon getting attacked en route by horse riding bandits and you shooting arrows at them. Like in Majora's Mask with the Protect the Milk side quest.
youtube.com
i like it
There's a mod for this in Skyrim and it combines well with reading books while you travel.
HELLO FELLOW KHAJIT
HI
HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE HIGH ELVES
nobody gives a shit about your trash games anymore bethesda, why don't you cut a few more staff and see if you can get it done with only one voice actor this time, and see if you can make things with twenty thousand times as many polygons as needed instead of ten thousand times.
>Literally all I want is an interesting magic system. I never fucking touched alteration or illusion
Alteration is good for the mage armour. It's necessary if you are wearing robes. It also has fun things like telekinesis and turning iron ore into gold.
Illusion is good for the muffle(until you get enchanted shoes), silent casting and invisibility. The calm spells are useful sometimes too, especially if you want to avoid killing for rp reason.
Combining silent casting with invisibility and the alteration detect life spell you can get in anywhere and backstab an entire dungeon without ever blowing your stealth. It's a powerful combination.
>Skyrim already did but alright.
Don't you mean oblivion?
BotW has a lot of physics and properties-based stuff which TES proper never focuses on because it's supposed to be stat-heavy and D&D inclined. If you were talking about how little it attempts to railroad you through the main quest or how BotW's world is actually fun to explore without needing a macguffin to entice players then I suppose the series could draw from those parts of it.
no creation club
no interference with modding community
release modding tools straight away
no voiced protag
no speech wheel
My only wish is that they announce the fucking game
>of course then a meta would come about and ruin it
>in a singleplayer game
hmmmm
*thinks about it*
i would wike mow spewws pwease :3
you are right
im a god damn idiot
I want magic to weave into physical attacks but have trade-offs. I don't want a mudcrab orgy to turn me into a god.
I want illusion to affect swords and arrows, making them deal no damage when enchanted but also knocking the victim out when their "health" hits 0. I want alteration to shoot fucking force beams out my sword after each swipe or give my arrows and blunt weapons the impact of a cannonball when they land. I want a dedicated poison magic tree where you can easily create mixtures that range from stunning to blinding to muffling their ears, or straight-up killing them and a combination of such, as well as being able to cast poison mists and assassinate or incapacitate others by poisoning their food. I also want to have to choose between which of these paths I'll take, but with a level/spec reset that has a high cost to obtain but never runs out.
And I want to do all this while being a pear-shaped fat-assed loli.with a rubable belly.
There is one thing I know that TES VI will have, you start as a prisoner.
I don't think there's much point talking about when the game won't even be announced for like 4 years but here we go.
>New Engine
>More focus on RPG mechanics instead of action game mechanics
>More imaginative magic system with a wider range of spells that can be used for more than just combat
>Return of Spellcraft
>Improved combat, particularly melee and magic combat, which both felt dull and boring in Skyrim
>Better NPC interactions with more dialog options and things to say/do with NPCs
>Better, more involved quest lines that have an appreciable effect on the world and how NPCs react to you
>The ability to fail quests if you fuck up badly enough, backed up by the ability to fail quest objectives if but still continue the quest through different avenues in most cases
>No essential/unkillable NPCs (seriously, this is the worst kind of immersion killer for me, if you need an NPC to stay alive for a quest line then put them in a city or somewhere else where they can't die unless the player kills them, in addition, use the suggestion above for continuing quests even if an important NPC in that quest dies).
>Make unique artifact equipment useful through the whole game by introducing a method of equipment upgrading to scale unique equipment to your level as you play at the cost of resources. Also give unique artifacts genuinely unique powers and effects so they feel special instead of feeling like every other enchanted piece of gear
>Fully customizable survival mode with options to add needs, diseases, equipment durability, item weight, no fast travel, stamina drain effects, etc using a menu instead of an all or nothing thing like in FO4 and the crap they did for Skyrim using their paid mods.
>Widen the skill tree to include more weapon classes
>New weapon types like spears, halberds, throwing daggers, etc
>Armour slots like in FO4 where you could have a piece of equipment for every part of your body instead of just 4 slots
>Better NPC AI
Eat your veggies grampa
ESO has loot crates now so I wouldn't hold your breath.
Paid modcrates
>>New Engine
This definitely, and not just a "new engine" thats just the same engine as usual just called something else.
a good game
More lore that establishes argonians as the master race.
I want to actually roleplay, my ability to do what I want in TES games generally falls flat. Usually quests are pre-determined to be "good" or "evil" at the start, with little variation for different styles of play. I want quests like New Vegas where you can go whatever route you want with them.
comfy tree cities in valenwood
user, that's just called learning to mod.
imagine an elder scrolls game in summerset isles
>It was a forbidden city for almost 50 years in the late Second Era, humans only being allowed in the ports at that time. These traders described the city as made from glass or insect wings,[1] which gives the city a beauty that, by any account, would easily rival that of any found on the mainland. Imperial emissaries of the Reman Dynasty described the city as straight and glimmering, a hypnotic swirl of ramparts and impossibly high towers, designed to catch the light of the sun and break it to its component colors, which lies draped across its stones until you are thankful for nightfall
I want tod to be the solitary voice actor of the game.
All this will do is force the player to run back to a town for repairs after every minor venture, and force them to always hold two weapons in case on breaks. Fuck that noise
It'd be banned in Canada
lol
Good. And when it wins GOTY and millions of players are enjoying it, you and the 15 pisspants contrarians on Sup Forums can endlessly Toddpost about the things you thought it should've had like you do with Skyrim.
I wanna see Blackmarsh
imagine consoles and craptops(the majority) trying to run this. It won't happen.
Werewolves that work like Vampires, in that they spawn in the world and can infect you with lycanthropy when they hit you.
Then you turn on full moons.
