I finally got the Mile High Club achievement from COD 4 today.
What is the toughest achievement/trophy you have earned and how long did it take?
Hardest achievement/trophy you have earned?
Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV 1000/1000 on 360
Street Fighter V platinum on PS4
Was that r1 on the leaderboards achievement in sf4 10 gamerscore or 0?
>What is the toughest achievement/trophy you have earned and how long did it take?
hard to say. Some of my rarer trophies are just a grind
Clearing all the ninja trials in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, the later ones not only require a coop partner but also nigh perfect execution.
Took me and my mate a full weekend to complete the ultimate ninja trials.
Full pacifist in Deus Ex Human Revolution.
Because Malik is my waifu, and I will never allow her to die.
>A few trophies away from platinuming Cyber Sleuth
>The quiz trophy glitched
Literally every achievement in the Halo series.
>inb4 playing post Bungie Halo
>Witcher 3
>11 months, 4 weeks
Dayum.
Apparently people have a really hard time beating the MGR bosses without taking any damage. Still never bothered to do an all S-run though.
Only because thats how long it took me to play the last DLC
Platinum was done in 5 weeks
shit man. I'm legit impressed
Crimson vs trophy in .hack//g.u.
I'm shit at card games and I can't win very often.
I guess the hardest would be the wipeout HD omega platinum. But I usually don't try for cheevos. That one and bloodborne are the only 2 100%'s I have.
Thanks man.
It was actually the second time I did the majority of it because my old fucking account got banned until the year 9999 for editing my shitty Xbox live avatar on a PC mod program
I'm just a sucker for those games, mate.
Catherine platinum is the rarest I have, but MGS2 was much harder.
Rogue Legacy and Call Of Duty WaW.
Never again.
I'm also very surprised to see that the other CoD's have a higher rarity than WaW also.
Also impressed, congrats on all the hard work dude.
>Catherine platinum is the rarest I have
It's a shame that the tower mode is actually broken, so it's almost impossible to clear at one point.
>Actually doing all those prestiges.
Are you actually insane? I would rather do Heart of the Reich 50 times in succession to playing the multiplayer on WaW enough to prestige 10 times.
The Witcher 2
"Madman"
>Beat the game on Insane difficulty
There's no prestige trophies m80, I think that's just an Xbox thing.
yep, all worth a total of 0 gamerscore
look online, there are good deck builds out there.
I'm trying to get the Platinum in that game but right now I need to 100% the Ryu books in vo 1
I finished Axis Mundi dual-wielding joysticks, it's very easy that way.
I finished all the other levels as intended and the one with all the exploding blocks nearly killed me irl.
Seriously? That's so unfair.
All the good deck builds I've seen rely on cards you can only get after becoming the champion.
i guess this thing, was really easy to get though, as is pretty much everything in Sins
Remember you can get $10 free sony bux if you live in the US through sony rewards if you earn 10 platinum trophies, but they have to be new trophies, theyre unfortunately not retroactive.
I don't consider it very hard to get, but time consuming. I got the EDF plat.
Couldn't do it, just to hard.
>All the good deck builds I've seen rely on cards you can only get after becoming the champion.
Have you tried to copy decks that kicked your ass?
Don't remember the names of the trophies but it was to play 100 multiplayer games of Extermination and to win 50 game of Extermination in Singularity? By far the worst multiplayer mode I've ever played and I spent an inhuman amount of time slogging through it painfully. Anybody else played Singularity?
Platinum'd every yakuza game out there, including spin-offs. those fucks take 100 hours+ each and Y5 took 300 hours
FFXIV took me 6 months but only because of the fucking trophy that requires 1000 daily quests done (which legitimately takes 5-6 months since its time-based)
fuck me i'm just now finishing up the last of Halo 3's.
Yeah? What shit you got left, user? I could help out, depending on what it is.
>and Y5 took 300 hours
How? It only took me 160 on Extra Hard, were you just idling all the time?
JP version of Y5. i just want the physical copy and paid the ultimate price
i now know 25% japanese
I understand your pain now. At least you can lord the physical copy over all of us.
Platinum for Raiden IV Overkill, I think.
...
Damn right, and im actuallly thinking about doing the same with Kiwami 2, especially dat nice limited edition
no need jap to understand story since i fucking know Y2 like the back of my hand
Just remember that you need to tie your account to the rewards program and you also need to activate the actual requirements. Once you do it takes like four to six days before it recognizes any new trophies you get, it didn't recognize my Kingdom Hearts platinum until just today.
I'll pay you to finish the last of my mahjong challenges just so I can have the Y0 platinum
>tfw xbros and sonybros are talking in the same thread peacefully
Remember this next time you see some shit disturber trying to start up a consolewar shitshow.
>spend over 300 bucks and over 100-600 hours tops on video games just to get 10 bucks free
not worth it unless it counts my 76 plats i have
Yeah, it's a pain that it's also not retroactive. Free money is free money though, I can't really complain about it.
Doesn't count old ones my dude, but if you still collect trophies, it's worth signing up for, just for those measly $10. There's a silver and gold trophy thing too, but they barely give anything.
0 gold run on spelunky
S rank they bleed ponycorns
Suitless reverse boss order run on super metroid
Just activate them anyway and if you buy any game you'll get them over time and eventually you can redeem them for stuff. Plus you get points if you buy anything at all on the store so eventually it'll probably add up.
I was disappointed it wasn't retroactive, but as long as they don't go away quickly and are actually a permanent fixture that's pretty good for some free money.
I don't even own an Xbox let alone have played an Halo past 2 and I know those trophies are known for being legendarly difficult.
Witnessed.
I was the third best (english) player in Freedom Wars. Was inbetween jobs at the time.
Character was April "Super Sinner" Solis.
Gonna go try and find my picture.
did anyone here get the dustforce achievement
Found it!
well, inexplicably i never bothered to get the skulls and haven't finished the second half of the campaign on legendary. three friends and i are playing through the campaign and knocking out the scoring achievements at the same time.
other than that it's mostly the ranked playlist shit that'll come with time, i quit playing for about five years but have thrown more time at it than anything else lately. surprisingly, i can actually play lone wolves pretty easy.
Sounds cool, man. I wish you luck and fun times with your friends.
Still, if you ever need someone to help, my username is Viktor. I'm always down to help someone with some Halo shit.
That is an OG GT. added you.
To this day
Yeah, but it hasn't been mine forever. Snagged it when they released dormant XBL names from long dead accounts about a year ago.
About to plat Bloodborne, just have Yharnam, OoK, Laurence, Gehrman and MP left to fight and then I gotta rerun OH because I missed out on Lumenwood rune and do the alt endings
My copy of Assassin's Creed 2 glitched and won't let me have the Auditore Cape worn in every city cheevo, otherwise I'd have 100%
not terribly difficult, but in dead rising 1 there was an achievement for survivng 7 in-game days in the post-game. each day was couple of hours or so, and i was still in middle school so i had to leave my 360 on overnight with the game paused and hope it didnt freeze or RROD so i could get the achievement, which unlocked a lightsaber and a pair of boxers. what sucks is that i would just set a timer to feed frank so he wouldnt starve to death, but i forgot once and he died, and the second time he died in the process of feeding him because the health bar keeps degrading while eating and the effect isnt instant so he died mid-gulp of coffee creamer.
Wasn't this one of the common glitches and there's some way around it? Also, did you go to the mountains? The ones you have to walk to, they don't have a fast travel point.
Not sure, but one of the hardest achievements that currently exists is extremely recent, it's mein leben from Wolfenstein II which requires you play the entire game in one sitting, with no saves, on the hardest difficulty (which is damn hard, you die in 1-2 hits with max armor / health) and the game itself takes at least 12+ hours to beat on this difficulty as you have to use stealth a lot, and the stealth mechanics are pretty lightweight. If you mess up, alarms go up and enemies swarm in until you kill commanders.
To make it worse, there's a sequence in the game, a dream sequence in a nazi courthouse in which you start off in a room completely surrounded by enemies and have to take them all out, while more swarm in. I died like 30+ times on this part on my I Am Death Incarnate run, and had to resort to quicksave spamming to pass it. It's pretty much completely impossible to earn this achievement right now unless you're a god at this game, I think people that actually have it just cheated the achievement, or used a trainer or something.
