does the d-pad show up as a digital input rather than an analog input when you configure the keybinds?

My usb snes controller says "retroinc" on it, I picked it up at my local shop

I've never had to use a system tool to map the buttons, just the game/retroarch

Oh that's what I mean, when I'm adjusting the keybinds in say, Snes9X or Gens or whatever, if I press up it says something like "Joy1 Y+"

rather than "D-pad UP" like when I'm using my 360 controller.

Love the Saturn so much. My only gripe are the smaller XYZ. D-Pad is heaven.

I'm looking forward to this and how connects to everything.

It's one of the best controllers I have ever used. The DPad is fantastic, second only to a legit SNES controller. Can do hadokens and FF6 Blitzes with my eyes closed. And the buttons, holy fuck. All of them are nice and responsive, and just the right clickiness, and springy without being spongey. The whole thing feels honestly like a higher quality real SNES controller, it's great. If the Pros are this same quality then I will be really fucking thrilled.

the vita has the best dpad and face buttons becuse of the microswitch and button interfaces but i do agree that the vita is uncomfortable and the sholder buttons suck shit but the dpad/face buttons are the best games have been given out of any controller hands down man.
