I didn't really appreciate it when it came out. I was actually really let down. But the more time I play it, the more I enjoy it for what it is. It's better than The Witcher 3, that's for sure.

I liked the sex mods, having a sex slave dungeon and whipping a tired up slave was pretty gud.
I liked the one where if you were defeated you'd be turned into a slave more though

pretty nice game to just relax in and role-play so long as you refuse all fast travel and make your way to everywhere by walking not running or jogging on foot, while constantly being imaginitive. Meet someone on the road? maybe take a journey with them to their destination and develop the personality of your character and their new friend in your head. It's not much different from coming up with fluff for your tabletop roleplaying characters

Fuck I remember like it was only yesterday, the week leading up to release, being all hype to play a new game with TES's cool magic system, looking forward to what kinds of interesting new spell effects I'd be able to combine in custom spells, and the massive disappointment as all they did was remove spells from the previous game just like morrowind > oblivion and they completely removed the fucking custom spells and destruction's scaling was completely broken.

I am playing right now with Requiem and A Skyrim XP mod. I am actually having a lot of fun.

Requiem fixes how terrible the pacing of the world. You sometimes encounter dungeon you have no chance in, so you need to level and come back later. Skyrim XP fixes the stupid leveling system. WIth a regular XP system, there is an actual benefit to completing random side quests.

Since the general experience is less shitty, I am playing longer and finding some mildly interesting things in the world. I am also encountering really fucking stupid things like Elisif calling me a good friend she can trust after already helping the Stormcloaks win the civil war.

Yup a great game. I remember the trailer being released and everybody lost their shit. It's comfy af. I liked the DLC's too where you could build a house and the Dawnguard questline was fun along iwth new areas etc.. I built a smaller one up by Winterhold, and without item spawning I put in alot of hours. Yup great game with lots of ground for the player to build a sort of individual game.

After playing with mods I can't go back to vanilla tho. Really wish there was a "hardcore" mode in the vanilla first time I played through. Without it food and drinks become pretty useless. Who bothers making a bunch of stews and steaks for HP

its true though, the mountain between falkreath and markath? has a mountain pass AND a dungeon, throat of the world, the one Todd was actually talking about? can actually be climbed and hell has to be climbed as a quest, the mountains in markath? has to be climbed to establish the blades hideout, the mountains in the north straight up from whiterun? can be climbed there is even a quest there if you do, the mountains to the west of windhelm? no quests there but still can be climbed and have a mountain pass through them

so yeah, literally all the mountains can be climbed and many of them have to be climbed during various quests. This isn't an opinion its a fucking fact. I'm only about 8 hours in but it's a LOT more compelling than vanilla Skyrim. Kinda rough at the very beginning until you unlock some abilities (which replace shouts). The (english) VAs are surprisingly good for a mod save for one who voices kids whom I'd strangle.

not interested for at least tworeasons: its an MMO and they are all unfortunately shit, its in the past while I am actually a bit interested about where the world is going. I was tempted to buy it after Morrowind expansion was released, but I don't really feel like getting into an MMO

Ulfric never really cared about anything that isn't a "true son/daughter of Skyrim" (a nord that agrees with all his opinions), so I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was true.

The game was fun and excellent, until it was completed.
Then it gets depressing, boring and unfulfilling.

Only thing to remain with the game is to show off your house, browse the collected shit, ornaments, weapons, armor and such.
I remember having a mansion for a family, north of Whiterun, in the Pale. Had a kitchen, storage and rooms for the kids i think. For the family only, there i was a family man, baking sweet rolls for my daughters and deer stews for myself. Loved my wife a lot. I still love Mjoll.
Funny story with her, i took her diamond ring, killed Aerin and soul trapped him in a black gem, then enchanted the ring and gave it back to her. She is the best wife and follower for me personally.

The 2nd mansion was a hero house, armory, trophy room, and with the positioner mod anothrr armory/storage.
Had vilkas in ebonsteel dragon armor guarding it, he looked badass with the ebonsteel hood and a dragon axe.
Used to punch the bard there a lot.
The house was for trophy's, but for the good, not evil trophys, like in markarths bounty hunter house, bowls of human and fairy hearts, briar hearts from forsworn, falmer ears...

The third house was the coolest for me. A wizard/killer/cannibal house, with the cannibal one eyed woman as the steward. greenhouse, alchemy tower, a library and a dungeon in the basement extension.
Down below where the shrines of the divines should be, i placed black soul gems filled with the souls of many targets i killed throughout the game, and an object that connects with them. For instance, soul of Grelod the kind, the gem is on top of the aretino boys silver plate.
Calixtos soul gem is on top of the butcher diary from his chest.
Ancanos soul gem is next to his thalmor boots.
The emperor is on a neat square stack of gold ingots.
Vittoria Vici soul gem is on top of her wedding band.
Then there are perma thralled corpses i bring to the pile, behead them and eat them with namira's ring.
Keep their clothes neatly stacked nearby.

I finish the main quest among the first, the dawnguard and the mirak quests too.
But i never go to the ash island to meet the bald wizard without bragging to him that im the archmage and that i know the library demon from before, when he gave me the Oghma book.
I like that wizard a lot, i sell him the staff of Magnus, as a gift.
I dont ever sell quest related items, but the staff goes to him as a gift.
