The 90's was the last great musical era. People actually formed bands and rap was actually cool. Video games were unadulterated for the only time in their existence. The biggest political scandal was a blowjob. I miss those days.

Not really. The late 90s tech boom brought about the biggest age of prosperity since the 1950s. Everyone was genuinely happier. Stuff like most genres of games were still new and were still able to impress people. Devs could make anything they want without having to be monitored by the Anita Sarkeesian hurt-feelings police. The modern CGI movie was born then, so all of the shit that's now reundant was brand new. Broadband was new, so the modern internet was born then, and with it a whole new digital culture that peope now take for granted.

It truely was fun.
