The antidote potion works for every kind of poison regardless of its origin

>the antidote potion works for every kind of poison regardless of its origin

I find that very unlikely.

>OP's faggotry works for every kind of thread regardless of content

I find that very likely.

>the explosive and poison potions were completely pointless

It's like it's some kind of magic or something.

>the mana potion replenishes your magical abilities no matter if it's resurrecting the dead or spinning really fast
I find that very unlikely.

>get hit by spider
>get poisoned

>act III

Health potions heal gaping wounds and you're worried about an antivenom's potency?

I find your mom pretty unlikely

But looky here, your dumb ass is still posting somehow

>get frozen
>drink a potion to thaw out

>bitten by snake ingame
>lose consciousness, limb rendered completely unambulatory
>go to game hospital where game doctor excises a large part of your leg
>have to wear long pants for the rest of the game to hide the missing chunk of your character

I'm not worried about the potency.
Fire is fire, for the most part doesn't matter what's burning, other than affecting the color. Same for cold, or electricity. They are well established physics phenomenons.
Poison (the game actually includes venoms and poisons in such a category), or rather, toxins, include thousands of different chemical compounds, each acting different from one another. You can't have one antidote that works on all of them.

>this thing is clearly magic but this other thing can't be magic

Strong enough fire can literally turn your appendage into ash instantly, that's no different from a skin burn, right?

it's an anti-DOTs if it does damage over time it works. what's so hard to get?

>Fire is fire
Would you pour water on burning oil or grease ?

That's a difference in intensity, just like things can be more or less cold.

In the same way, you can inject more or less or a certain venom, but the difference is there are thousands of different types of venoms. There are not thousands of different types of colds, hence why the anti-freeze potion is ok.

A hot substance is not fire.

But that difference in intensity changes the properties of burning or immolation to a straight up fast energy discharge akin more to the effects a laser would have, your appendage is gone and there's nothing a BURNHEAL will do.

I figure it's like steroids for your immune system. It buffs it to a point where it could handle any poison in the way that poison would need to be handled.

Also, you only need to explain it if the poisons are established to have differences. Maybe there's only one type of poison in whatever universe.

>I find that very unlikely.
You should stick to simulators then, instead of complaining about lack of realism in fucking fantasy games.

why are there different types of venom?
in that world every venom might be the same.

it removes things that make you turn green. not that hard
