When did Sup Forums start to like it?
I've been on the fence, but now that even Sup Forums approves of it I'm gonna get it.
I just remember lots of "WE WUZ KANGZ"-memeing up to release, and a bit past it, and then people just called it plain bad. Now, people here call it the best since AC4.
What happened? Was it just buggy and needed fixing or what?

Potential pirates couldn't wait any longer and just bought the game. Also, the combat is less fun and rewarding than previous AC games. Counter kill fuckfest with beautiful animations is better than the clunky combo crap in this one.

Nah, Ubisoft tend to make pretty good PC versions nowadays. The last really shitty one I remember was the original Assassin's Creed. A lot of shitposters on Sup Forums still have toasters.

I picked it up yesterday for PS4. Its okay so far. Doesn't feel like an AC game though. More like a single player MMO. Not as good as Black Flag or Brotherhood, but better than all the other games.
