I haven't actually played Mario 64 all the way through and I feel like doing it today. What's the most stable N64 emulator? I know that really none of them are "good."

Windwaker doesnt sound bad.. cs go though for shits and giggles

Project64, as shit as it is is probably the best option

Currently playing Zelda oot for the 3ds, great game, lots of nostalgic moments

Dragon Warrior for NES.

I tried to find a decent Spider-Man game because I watched Homecoming and had craves but there aren't any that haven't aged like spoiled milk.

just download the wii shop version and use dolphin

Closers Online really made me want to play DC again, so that's what I'm emulating right now.

I also need to start replaying Xenoblade soon. How's the HD texture pack?

...

Huh, didn't think of that. Will do.

BOTW fully playable now? i didn't touch it back when it first was launching due to how shit it was at the time.

Technically I've been playing Tales of the Abyss for like two years, but it's been on and off.

yeah

Whenever I look at anything from a Tales game it just looks like the most generic anime JRPG trash. They might even be good but the artstyle just irks me.

I like the art style but the game's themselves are generic as fuck, it turns even an anime fan like myself off.

Man I gotta get around to Wii U emulation sometime. This and Tropical Dong are at the top of my list

...

It's what I mean. They just look like "anime tropes" The JRPG Series.

Because it is pure anime style. God knows you play Tales games for the combat and not the archetypal story or characters.

>le generic meme

Get back to plebbit

What's the best PS2 emulator? Haven't emulated any disc-based games yet, only NES and SNES.

>Buzzwords

PCSX2. You don't really have a choice.

pcsx2

Right now your only choice is PCSX2, but Play! is an up and coming PS2 emulator (which can't play much right now)

PCSX2 is the only one worth using. If the game you want to play doesn't work on it then you're shit out of luck unless you have a chipped PS2 or a PS2 with a swap disc you could play a burned copy of the ISO with.

I don't think there are any games that don't work.

Persona 5

Might emulate Pokemon XY or ORAS when I am done with Sun on my 2DS

Well it's all up to chance. Just gotta hope it plays what you want at a decent enough framerate.

...

DQ8 has such a good art style. Love me some well done cel-shading.

this

DQ8 isn't cel-shaded, it doesn't even have a proper lighting system.

007 Goldeneye with PC controls feels incredibly polished although the game itself feels a bit too easy

Thanks, downloading PCSX2 and Ar Tonelico right now!

>can emulate most Gamecube games
>voluntarily plays the worst Zelda ever instead

"master race"

>of all the ps2 games you download that trash

Well of course it's easy because it wasn't made with the precision of mouse aiming in mind.

With PCSX2 it's basically pointless to buy Rogue Galaxy for PS4.

I play tales game for the combat, admittedly, the last one i beat was vesperia. The last good tales game imo, and thats because ms funded the project, so they had a good budget.

SM64
Jesus Christ this game is janky.

Xenoblade X

Looks so bad on PS4 too. Not even widescreen.

Any recommendations for emulators on android?
Mainly looking for SNES and GBA but N64 and PS1 would be nice too.
I tried retroarch, but the menu design is horrible and it ran kinda slow on SNES games. I didn't spend much time with it, maybe I didn't use the best modules.

I've read it has a lot of problems still.

Ain't nothing free in life.

There are problems but it's fully playable and runs great. Some texture issues, looping music problems but nothing that stops it for being unplayable.

...

Just finished PM: TTYD and moving on to Super Mario Sunshine. I have seen a HD version of SMS, and I want to find a site that hosts it.

compat.cemu.info/wiki/Xenoblade_Chronicles_X

Brightness is too high (can be partially fixed by using a graphic pack which reduces the bloom effect, for more details see this link).
Sound issues: musics and voices are too low compared to other sounds (can be partially fixed by using this workaround).
Texture missing or popping (since v1.8.0), especially on the ground (grass and plants).
Textures are randomly displayed in purple (rocks, plants, walls...).
Some cutscenes do not work or lag/stutter.

where do i find this

Think there's enough time to complete Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii before XC2 comes out?

Weird game. Not as weird as Clock Tower 3, but still weird as fuck.

Anyone got the CEMU files to play online?

SNES9X and mGBA. Don't know about N64 and PS1. I think PS1 emulation is fine on Android but N64 has a lot of issues.

...

Ugh i emulated this the other day and gived up after finding there's no H-scene when the massive retard catches you.

...

Playing Bushido Blade for the first time. It's pretty cool.

eyy my nig, post your build and graphic packs list

Kingdom Hearts 1 for a comfy adventure

SMT: DDS2

Glad they nerfed Omoikane because they were a chore to kill in DDS.

You're My Dude.

Man, I wish they'd remaster the Bushido Blade games.

youtube.com/channel/UCex2B-k-ZIJhcjRdlYUz4MQ/videos

Yeah, wtf is with n64 emulation?
Blastcorps runs like shit, mischief makers run like shit, castlevania runs like shit.
I feel like the only games it runs properly are the zeldas

wait did you post this because you use what he uses or you're BSoD himself

It's just a system with complicated internals. If only suddenly Mednafen had a N64 core.

you seem like you needed help so I posted something helpful.

That monochomia mod seems neat

If feel like you are trying to imply something but I'm too much of a brainlet to understand

well I appreciate that but actually I've watched his videos from day one, I just wanted to start a convo

I moved onto Team Dark yesterday and having more fun with them than Rose/Chaotix.

Mednafen is home to the best emulator for PS1, PC-Engine/CD, Virtual Boy, Neo Geo Pocket and Saturn. Guy's a savant and if he also suddenly just had a N64 core as well that works as well as the now latest Saturn core I wouldn't be surprised.

>more fun with them than Rose

Well that's unsurprising

Team Dark is how the game should be played IMO. Team Rose is babby mode, Team Sonic is middle of the road as hell and Chaotix is busy work.

Downloading this

Thanks, I'll check snes9x. I can't find mGBA, is it "my boy gba" or "MyGBA"?

I WOULD be emulating MH3U if I wasn't an AMD cuckold.

Who am I kidding, my CPU sucks too.

>unless you have a chipped PS2 or a PS2 with a swap disc you could play a burned copy of the ISO with.
m8 you living in the early 2000s? ps2 was softmodded ages ago. all you need is to install fmcb on a memory card and you can play games from burned dvd's, usb sticks, through ethernet on an smb server and if you have a fat ps2, from HDD.

mGBA isn't on Android. From what I remember My Boy is pretty good.

this is a place for arguments or asking questions, idiot!!

This is a long shot, but is the guy who posted lurking here?
It's quite enjoyable staying in the air with Shadow using a combo of Black Tornado and Homing Attacks, but I simply like Team Dark/Sonic more overall which makes the experience better.

Well they are basically the "normal" modes aside from Team Dark having slightly more dickish enemy placement and a little more area to trek through in most every zone.

It looks like mGBA is only available as a core for Retroarch. I probably got it confused with My Boy. From what I remember My Boy runs well.

user said he didn't like Retroarch though

This shit is too hard

Don't believe in memes, use either vba-m or no$gba.

Also emulation.gametechwiki.com/

>use either vba-m or no$gba

The game isn't that hard really

Just as good as the PS2. What in the fuck am I doing wrong?
