Which one for PC?

which one for PC?

XBox since it's a less of a pain to set up. Though I do use my Dualshock when I'm playing something D-pad reliant.

switch pro

ps4 touchpad is garbage, xbox all the way

Wii u pro controller

It's half the price, has a much higher build quality and has a 40 hour battery life

Or a switch pro if you have the money

DS4 for emulation, XBONE for general use.

360
The dpad "issue" is a meme.

Wii U pro has 80 hour battery life, switch pro has 40

Xbone controller. DS4 is shit desu

>less of a pain to set up

You literally just plug the DS4 into a USB port with the cable that comes with the console, download DS4Windows and off you go.

You can even customise the colour bar.

DS4 has native support on W10, though. It's literally plug and play.

xbone hands down. It's literally plug and play.
Dualshock is shite and you need to jump through all sorts of hoops to get it working.

No analog triggers though.

Xbox if you just need something with really quick setup. All you need for that is the 360 drivers (that's on win 8 - I have no idea about win 10).

If you are going to be playing mostly 2d games, I'd go with the dualshock since the dpad is up top. I still think the Xbox controller is better though.

yeah, with like a handful of titles.
most games require you to run external software to make it compatible with pc games while you play.
it's really a shame though, because the ds4 is so much better than any xbox controller, but almost no games has native support for it.

when HD rumble and gyro work, then i'll be doing this as well
Xbox S controller with bluetooth is the patricians choice, OP

>the ds4 is so much better than any xbox controller, but almost no games has native support for it.
this is what turk roaches and poorfags actually believe

my 360 pad still works perfectly after 10 years so I would recommend that

this. mine broke literally yesterday, lasted around 7 years and looking for a replacement :( .
Is the xbone better or should I stick with the 360?

the xbone pad is a straight upgrade from the 360 pad. It feels similar but more refined. The d-pad is the biggest improvement. It's a tiny bit smaller but the grips are bigger.

>PCgame
>use touchpad

I love the fact that no one mentions how prone to breaking the xbox one controllers are, just google it if you don't believe me.

360 controller

DS4 Windows doesn't always work for the emulators I run.

XB1 S controller on the other hand, always.

use scptoolkit

A lot of titles have trouble with DS4windows.

thanks senpai, will look into it.

the program requires it.

I still can't grasp how people can use the dualshock.

It's like Sony and everyone else knows the designed is simply retarded but it's just here to stay just to make a statement.

I have no problems playing PS1, PS2 and PSP emulators with the DS4, which ones are you having trouble with?

Some games dont work at all without DS4windows or inputmapper.
And while using one of those some games see 1 controller as 2. So pressing jump in cuphead triggers adding player two.

No it doesn't. You can't just plug it in and use it like with an Xbone, you need third party soft ware. Even then some games don't function properly. The Xbone is better, like that one guy said if yiu care about ease of use.

The most annoying one is Project 64, I make a new profile to mirror the keyboard commands and yet it doesn't register.

This might be a bit anecdotal, but i have never once EVER had a game have problems with DS4windows, and ive been using it for years

that happens because Cuphead has native DS4 support, so you don't need DS4Windows for it.

One controller > 360 > ps4

One controller is amazing when you're actually using it, but the PS4 controller looks alot better to me. I just hate that light bar

Just got a switch pro controller. Can I use it to play any pc game, and does it work similarly to the ps4 controller and steam?

Steam controller!

Xbox controller simply because pretty much every pc game these days supports it.

Dualshock 4.

that's what 'hide DS4 controller' is for you baka

If you want a PS controller for PC, get DualShock3 instead. It has pressure-sensitive buttons which DS4 doesn't. Though obviously they're not relevant in a lot of games, but you might notice the difference if/when emulating PS2.

DS4 has much more comfortable triggers, which is more relevant in everything except PS2 emulation
also, most PS2 games don't need pressure sensitivity

xbone controller. best controller of all time

I'm using an xbone controller. Though I may be picking up a Pro Controller for my Switch and I'm interested to know how it works on PC also.

I stopped using my DS3 for PC a long time ago. Very uncomfortable controller if you have large hands. Fingers constantly slipping off R2L2.

>higher build quality

Seriously user? That thing is a piece of cheap trash.

The switch pro controller is good, but the wii-u one was one of the worst controllers to come out in the past decade.
