Darker Side Of The Moon pt2

I fucking did it. FUCKING GODDAMN FINALLY. After far too many attempts. That fucking Bird Section is absolutely bullshit. As soon as I got past that, I beat the rest in one attempt...

Is that everything then? I thought there might be another ending or at least another interaction with Peach.

So the last she does in the game is ditch you (and her people) to go on a vacation around the various Kingdoms? She doens't even show up to cheer you on for the final mission? Maybe if I'd found her in all the other places she would I suppose.

Considering all you do to rescue her, she comes across kind'a like a bitch doesn't she? Completely takes Mario for granted.

I did the bird part first try desu. What killed me over and over and over was the fog part with the spiky niggers. Only beat it when I realized I could just run away from spiky niggers the whole time since they dont walk they just jump.

>She doens't even show up to cheer you on for the final mission
She does cheer you during the bowser fight. The rest of that shit has nothing to do with the story

Is it worth finishing? I got to the yoshi part and died and don't feel like replaying it.

You mean when you rescue her from marrying him? Or when you control him in the Darker Side of the moon part?

I just felt the way that Peach ditches you at the end felt really cold. Like she treats Mario and Bowser's proposal the same... Despite that Mario's been travelling all over the world to save her and Bowser's the one who kidnapped her. It's just "Huh, get lost!" to you just the same as him. Felt really rude and cold I suppose.

It's not necessarily that hard, it's just grueling, where if you make any mistake it's right back to the beginning.

I was able to consistently beat the entire thing without any issues, right until that stupid Bird part, where you'd fall and die without even really knowing what you did wrong. And then it's alllllll the way back, and it's another 5-10mins before you can try again. Each individual segment is fairly easy, it's just hard when you string them together.

As to whether it's worth it, I guess I just wanted to say I'd completely beaten the game.

>It's not necessarily that hard, it's just grueling, where if you make any mistake it's right back to the beginning.
That's why I haven't bothered attempting it again.

By bird section, you mean that small part with the Pokio?
How is that tripping people up? You just fling yourself upward for 10-15 seconds.

The real hard part is that 8-bit section

She just doesn't want to get married right now.
They're fighting over her but didn't give her any say in the matter.
So her reaction was justified.
She didn't tell Mario to get lost, she literally just went on a trip and gives him Moons she finds. They're obviously still friends.

Spin the stick when the pokio beak is in the wall and you will fling yourself 3 times higher

Just waggle the joycons

>just finished up grinding the coinage needed for 999 moons
>feel happy, but also empty inside
Finishing Long Journey's End wasn't all that difficult, again I had more trouble with the damn jump rope, but managed without using the scooter technique.

Post-game picture moons on Dark Side weren't all that hard, a lot less cryptic than a few of the pre-game ones, but a few of those revisited challenges were annoying, especially the disappearing road one.

I don't get why so many people found the Pokio section hard. Where's the hard part? You peck when the board passes you and flick yourself up when a new one swings by, where's the trouble in that? The wonky controls in the 2D section is the real bullshit.

>wonky controls
>left, right, run, jump, duck
Nigga it's just SMB

I like spinning more

>Gets kidnapped and is forced to get married
>Have to listen to Bowser go on about marriage for god knows how long
>Finally Mario rescues you
>Go through all the crazy shit that happens on the moon
>Finally she can have some peace and quiet
>Except not because now they're both pushing flowers in her face and Mario is acting just as bad as Bowser and begging her even tho she just wants to fucking go home
Her reaction is completely justified. And it's obvious she's fond of Mario if you see how happy she is whenever she sees you. She was just fucking tired of all this wedding shit.

Controls change depending on Mario's location, so if he's standing on the left side, left and right are actually up and down, and moving changes these directions and it's really annoying.

Are you really too dumb to simply rotate the joycon if you struggle that much?

If you hold it for long it somehow fucks it up, plus playing in handheld mode youre not using the waggle shit. if you just flick it its really easy. I did it perfect my first time then kept fucking it up over and over

its bullshit though because other sections of the game had the same thing going on except the controls didnt change.

>hurr why this post game section has challenge?

>that orgasm Tiara has whenever she sees Cappy out in the field

So what, when you stood on the left suddenly up and down made you walk? That makes even less sense

It would be like getting to the final boss but all your controls are inverted. It would be different if it was presented the same earlier but it wasnt. I got it my 2nd or 3rd try so Im not that mad about it but it is just complete bullshit and the laziest way to make something difficult

No, because the final boss isn't on a wall. In many 2D games when you're on a wall left and right still go up and down because it's just like the ground is now the wall.
I am not sure why this incredibly common challenge is such a problem for you, unless you've never played a 2D game before.

I found making the second jump just really unreliable, it wouldn't work for me at all. Doesn't help that the timing window is incredibly precise.

The 2D section was difficult only because of the view changing directions, that was a little silly. But by the time I beat the stupid Pokio section I could get through everything else without taking damage, so I was at 6 Hearts and just brute forced DK.

>Two Nintendo games in a row that imply incest

The Twin brother and sister getting married at the end of FE Warriors was a bit of a surprise.
