Switch or PS4?

So i'm a big RPG fan, i couldnt care less about shooter or M-rated games, i mostly enjoy cartoony RPGs and not much else.
So whats the best one?

PS4 has the biggest CURRENT library, but Switch seems to be the home of Weeb games, JRPGs, and the like GOING FORWARD. So PS4 if you're looking for an instant breadth of titles, Switch given a year or two. Or pic related of course.

Do you like Zelda and Mario? If yes get a switch

I own both, right now there's a lot more to play on the PS4 than the Switch. BOTW was really great but I was actually a little underwhelmed by Odyssey. Some levels were really great but many were not and the game didn't take very long to complete.

If you had to pick today it's gonna be PS4. Way more games for you to choose from in that genre. Switch might become a good home for RPG fans, but not this year. Maybe next year the outlook will be better with XC2, SMTV, DQXI, Octopath, etc but right now it's weak with just I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear as far as I can tell.

sadly I'd still say PS4. It has a huge library, and the Switch is only really good for Mario or Zelda games at this point.

The PS4 without question. The Switch currently has one worthwhile game, and its a Mario title thats pretty fun, but youll beat it in a weekend and the post game is pretty awful.

what cartoony rpgs are on the ps4 and switch? I can barely think of more than one on both of them. Most of them are all on the 3DS

half a year ago people said same about zelda, so at very least two. In actuality many more.

Odyssey is worth playing but it doesn't have near the longevity of BOTW.

Best current RPG I've played is Ys8 Lacrimosa of Dana. Exploration is top notch and all the areas in the game are gorgeous.It's really one of the best RPGs that i've played.

Look, those games might not be good but to say you have played them all and then missing games is flat out lying.

PS4 as of right now, the switch probably in the future will be where to get weeb games and the like, though the ps4 will probably still get them also. You're best bet is just having both desu

What do you mean? PC games are free.

Both are good but at the moment I'd suggest going for the PS4. It is cheaper depending on which model you get and right now has a larger library.
Switch will be getting some JRPGs later on such as Octopath Traveller and SMTV, but until then there isn't too much.

Sure but the game has way more to explore and do. Once you beat Odyssey most of the game is just looking around for spots on the ground to pound to reveal a moon.
