Which subrace are you going to unlock and level first?
Which subrace are you going to unlock and level first?
Void Elf
I'll make a nightborne magel then parade in Orgrimmar /yelling 'who goes there' then casting Arcane Explosion.
Nightborne Warlock to top Worgen Death Knights in terms of reality breaking silliness
dARK iRoN or troll
Zandalari Shaman, no doubt. Shit's gonna be cash.
Not really excited about any of them. Zandalari is awesome but I play ally
Dark Iron Fire Mage
But there are loads of Nightborne Warlocks. They live it a city occupied by demons. Why is that reality breaking?
dark iron hunter, warlock or pally if possible.
>Be Nightborne Warlock
>Get aided by Horde Champion and join the Horde
>The Blood Elves help us out and give us access to the Sunwell as a source of magic to curb our appetite
>Swear loyalty to Warchief Sylvanas
>Travel back in time and go from level 110 to level 20
>Garrosh is now Warchief
>Aid his campaign efforts against the alliance after Deathwing ruined everything
>Go back in time to Outland
>Kill Illidan and aid the Blood Elves in fixing the Sunwell to cure their magic addiction
>Also stop Archimonde from destroying the world tree for fun
>Help Garrosh's war efforts in Northrend so that he can earn a name for himself as a commander starting in horde's army
>Go to Pandaria and aid in sacking Orgrimmar, so Vol'jin can become warchief
>Go back in time to an alternate dimension and kill off Archimonde
>Attack Gul'dan at the broken shore, Vol'jin dies so Sylvanas is promoted to Warchief so we can swear loyalty to her
>Swear loyalty to Sylvanas (again)
>Discover the ourselves on the Broken Islands
>Help my own race get over my addiction so we can later be aided by the blood elves in stopping ourselves from giving in to demonic powers and practicing warlock magics
>Use magic the entire time to disguise as a Nightborne and be careful so that they don't see through the illusion, and that I am really a Nightborne Warlock.
Levels are abstract, they aren’t real. Helfire Penisula Felboars aren’t actually stronger than C’thun. As for the timeline thing that’s the same for literally any race. The Worgen Death Knight is a literally impossiblity. The Worgen were in hiding and weren’t even turned into werewolves until after the fall of the Lich King. Nightborne Warlocks can actually exist.
Just look at those nipples, how could you refuse to join the Zandalari?
Zandalari paladin
>Human males and Zandalari males have nipple contests and rubdowns to see who is the most nippley
>As for the timeline thing that’s the same for literally any race
Actually, any race other than Nightborne and Void Elves could have been aiding the alliance or horde as independent of the rest of their race
Nightborne were locked away in their bubble until months before Legion, and Void Elves are post-Argus; so them going through those times are as impossible as Worgen Death Knights.
A void elf warlock or mage sounds cool
If the first 4 come with patch 7.3.5 for preorders I'll level a Nightborne mage. I'll use my boost on a human priest, then on launch first go through Zandalar with my undead DK, then through Kul Tiras with the human priest to unlock Dark Iron so I can make a Dark Iron warrior.
>subrace
Murlocs. When?
In other news:
>"With sets and cosmetic appearances we're always trying new things. We're currently not planning on carrying forward traditional raid class sets," says Hazzikostas. "So we're going to have artwise, the gear will be more heavily themed from the place it comes.
Where were you when class tier sets were kill?
It's interesting, you will get the typical tier bonuses other ways now & the art team can focus more on the theme
I don't think it's the worst change they have made for sure
Legion proved that for class tier set bonuses they were running out of ideas, most of them were boring garbage.
With them reintroducing pieces with effects on them that actually matter (Drape of Shame) and 2/3 piece set items you can get from dungeons, this system might end up much better. We'll probably see a return of proc weapons vs stat sticks too.
As long as they continue making 3/4 different looking sets for each armor class in a raid, it should add some actual variance to what people are using.
Yeah but for example Warriors, Paladins and DKs always getting the same shared tier set from now on is weird as fuck.
>As long as they continue making 3/4 different looking sets for each armor class in a raid
Yeah but that's probably what exactly isn't going to happen. It'll all be Trial of Valor from nowon, one set per armor type: plate, mail, leather, cloth.
gib big milky zomby source thanks
>tfw getting legendary i want
>can't use it because it breaks set armor and reduces DPS
Skip set bonuses but keep the art for set armors
are they not unlocked at launch? how do you unlock them?
grinding rep to exalted with certain factions, but they will cut that & just make them normal races, i guarantee it
Reputation requirement and a questline.
Mage sets have been the same for a while now.
>chance on hot streak/breain freeze/arcane missiles to also proc X stat increase for Y seconds
>chance hot streak/breain freeze/arcane missiles to have the proc not be consumed
>when you cast fireball/frostbolt/arcane blast you have a chance to proc X stat increase for Y seconds
>when you cast fireball/frostbolt/arcane blast you have a chance to proc a buff that make a spell you wouldn't otherwise cast better to cast
All of the interesting tier sets become passives so they're running out of ideas.
Allied races aren't going to be a part of the game until BfA, dumbass.
>playing modern WoW
LMAO
>doesnt mean we can't do the questline before hand to have them unlocked when BfA starts
It's been implied we get 4 of them earlier, with Zandalari and Dark Iron only being unlockable at launch.
Demon Hunters were available in prepatch for preorders for Legion.
i think they'd do well to tailor the sets to roles since they're not doing classes anymore.
>heal, tank, dps plate
>rdps, mdps mail
>tank, mdps, heal, rdps leather
>heal, dps cloth
that's still 11 sets instead of the usual 12 for the classes, but they'd be able to play around with it more without having to both adhere to class fantasy AND the set source, so they can just focus on the latter.
plus with transmog there will be plenty of people removing the looks anyway so it's not like every single armor class wearer will be wearing the exact same thing anyway. i rarely see full sets from ToS even now.
That system would mean Priests, Shaman, Hunters and Paladins get a unique set anyways. Then the other classes will complain.
don't fucking tell me this rep shit starts at 120...If it does it's just another time gate forcing us to waste our goy fee time on leveling a class we don't want to 120 just to level another character. If so I guess I won't be making a subrace
What the fuck is this?
...
First 4 races at 110, Zandalari and Dark Iron unknown. Could be during leveling, could be when you reach 120, could be a rep grind after reaching 120.
I'll honestly stick to Gnomes. But those tauren look nice too, maybe I'll finally level a horde cahracter to play with my friends there.
Void Elf
Not going to bother with Horde ones at all because I only have 12 Alliance characters
...
This is with the old races too?
why do so many people post this image when obama isn't in office anymore?
>People still think Worgen Death Knights break the lore
It's not about their origin, it's the time travel shenanigans during leveling one.
it's the new pol meme, le 56% face. I am unironically mixed as well. I am an irl subrace
>Which subrace are you going to unlock and level first?
I'd resub day one of their release and damn near level a Broken of every fucking class available to them: IF THEY HAD THEM.
I could not physically care less about any of these OC Donut Steel sub-races.. Except Dark Iron, I'm real happy for everyone who wanted Dark Iron that they're finally getting them after, like, 10 fucking years... And straight backed Orcs & Trolls.
It's just a massive monkey paw wish, really, it is.
Troll then Dwarf fuck everything else.
That's an issue with every race though since cata was a mistake.
but obama isnt in office anymore so i dont know why people are posting pictures of mongrel bixes that worship him
>Use magic the entire time to disguise as a Nightborne and be careful so that they don't see through the illusion, and that I am really a Nightborne Warlock.
Oh shit this will be a thing won't it
I don't get why they don't make them start at 110 after the whole hassle of unlocking them.
Leaning towards either nightborne or dark iron
They literally mentioned during the blizz con Q and A when one fag asked saying they could put chorime in there so people know its time fuckery
It would be pretty retarded to have both tier sets and the azerite armor shit
I can't wait to play a void elf and then be an edgy cocksucker
DK tier sets almost always look derivative and shitty so I don't mind all that much, in Legion I wanted the armor and weapons the nigbtborne enemies had instead of more skulls and spikes.
If I played a paladin I would be miffed because paladins ALWAYS have fucking good looking armor every single tier across both PVP and PVE sets. Shit like the cata half angel/half demon asymmeteic set is great and blizz never makes any other class have something neat, with DK's it's always just more bones and spikes.
The best DK sets are the Nerubian/EVA looking PVP set from MoP and Ulduar raid tier
I wonder if Zandalari can be druids as well and if they'll have something like armored transformations, sort of like having Incarnation on at all times. They already said Highmountain druids will have antlers so it'd only be fair for Zandalari to get something.
Rumor is that Zandalari druids get dinosaur beast modes.
>LF Draenei can't be monks OR shaman
Both types of junkie elves can be Monks but Space Goats can't? This is bullshit.
desu most of the tier sets for Legion have been bland and boring. Not really surprising their creative department is running out of ideas for 4 raid tiers, it kind of shows with warrior tier 21 which is literally just Argus npc armor
I heard only travelform, blizzard is too lazy to rename all the druid attacks for something like a Triceratops or raptor form.
I'm not sure how to take this in yet, but I hope it doesn't mean Tier sets are going away altogether. Does themed mean liked Firelands tier where everyone was on fucking fire, or Trial of the Crusader tier were groups of armors shared sets. Because that fucking sucked.
