I should make more time for it but none of my friends play it and while there is the FGC discord for my country who all love GG I just never get time to sit down and fight them because I'm always asked by friends to play BB, SF or Tekken.

Didnt like Rev 2 and Tekken came out so I've been playing that

i came back today to play but people already know my name so they instantly kick me out when i enter a room.

I had to go back to gg rev to find people to play at 10f of delay.I also still suck against sin,even against a.i pressure.

If you just play the game casually in lobbies it's actually a really fun time.
Yes there's dumb shit in the game and try hards will make you feel like a punching bag sometimes but playing someone around your skill level with a decent back and forth going on is incredibly fun.

I've learned that playing any sort of challenging video game makes me extremely angry, actual multiplayer stuff multiplies that and I start raging to the point of screaming myself hoarse and breaking shit/hitting myself
I'm so mentally drained after years of that behavior that I would rather just avoid those games entirely, even in the new mario which I fucking adored I was starting to get really angry as soon as I hit some of the later more challenging levels and it just made me depressed
I fucking love fighting games and wish I could play them without getting so mad but no matter how much I've tried I simply cannot help it, so I've resigned to just watching other people play them instead

But I am user. On that topic, who the fuck do I beat Ky as Slayer? Really difficult matchup for me. Doesn't help that 90% of USW lobbies will have at least 3 Ky mains at any given time.

Not a slayer main so i can't offer huge dumps of help but I know several and its something ive noticed from watching them play. From personal experience I can tell you some good places for defense from my own ky experiences, like for 6hs you FD first hit and ib second to kill his advantage as much as possible.

Combo mode advanced generally has very little to offer beyond maybe 1 or 2 combos which just introduce to you concepts of the best combos, or just their highest level of tech like faultless defense cancelling with ino and faust. You should definitely look up actual combos to practice in training and if you must use combo mode, it's probably best to rep the basic combos since those are generally more strings you Gatling anyway.
