is this normal or am i damaged?
First time playing new vegas with its dlc
You're damaged. Old World Blues is easily the best.
Old world blues is family guy tier humor.

IS THAT PENISES ON HIS HANDS
I can understand not liking OWB because of the contrarian hive mind battle on v, but you have to be damaged to actually like Honest Hearts.
Old World Blues and Dead Money are the best two by a long shot. Dead Money is a very tight and well done experience for the most part, but the freedom granted in Old World Blues is also very nice.
>he doesn't like reading
>he doesn't like the blues
>he doesn't like feelsbad plot twists
OWB is the best New Vegas DLC by far
this. Daniel is a cuck and you can't kill him without jeopardizing the entire main quest. The only choice you have is to go full holocaust with based Joshua Graham. However, the Survivalist logs were great and pretty much all the dialogue was spot-on.
It was way too short and had no replay value.
On opposite day maybe. Quests are dumb. Enemies are fucking shit. Humans with no armor, nightstalkers who attack in groups of 2 at most who pose no threat. Can't forget those retarded scorpions with ridiculous DT who you can just backpedal away from while shooting them with a shitty laser pistol. None of the guns are even worth a damn to bring back. Sneaking suit is annoying because it chugs your stimpacks and never shuts the fuck up. Honestly couldn't wait to smash their gay eyeball monitors at the end.
>DUDE PENISES FOR FINGERS!? XD
Fuck. Off.
>he doesn't like the suit waifu
>he doesn't like the dog gun
get off my fucking image board
Quick question:
Doing a run where I'm trying to get achievements and I've exhausted Ranger Andy's dialogue so the game won't trigger the last bit of Raul's companion quest. I know issuing a command in the command prompt immediately disables achievements but the Wikipedia page says "Loading a saved game in which the console has been used will not disable achievements."
So will just putting the command through then finishing up Raul's quest, saving, quitting, then reloading be sufficient?
>tfw you find out what really happened to the Think Tank
>have a blast with honest hearts
You don't need to lie like this to everyone. You can tell us the Survivor was the only good part, we won't hate you for it.
>Playing without the unofficial patch in the first place.
I don't understand. But yes, if you do the console command, save, shut the game down, then bring it back up and load your save again it'll unlock it properly.
Suit was going to be cool I thought because it let you build it up and upgrade it but it NEVER shuts the fuck up. Every 10 seconds it repeats the same 3-4 pieces of dialogue. Dog Gun is garbage.
im not lying thats the sad part
i liked zion and thought it was very pretty, and i enjoyed genociding the white legs with my main man joshua. i didnt do the survivor stuff either, didnt know it was a thing until i saw it on Sup Forums
...
I genuinely like everything about Honest Hearts
I don't see how. The actual area you explore is fine, but there's not a lot to explore, everything is a recolor or from Fallout 3, and the main story ends after like three missions. It's just empty and you barely do anything.
INCONTESTABLE TIER NEW VEGAS DLC TIER LIST
Dead Money > Old World Blues > Lonesome Road > Honest Hearts
>Lonesome Road
>above anything
THE BEAR
THE BULL
THE DIVIDE
I fucking hated Old World Blues because of the "YEAH, SCIENCE!" endless quipping that you have to endure. It thinks it is absolutely hilarious and it's a nightmare to endure. Not to mention the enemies were sponges.
I didn't think any of the New Vegas DLCs were stellar, but I hated OWB with a passion.
>defending muh indian reserve expansion
>defending BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL
>oh look here's a cave and here's a cave and here's a cave
>oh, and look, this enemy type that shouldn't be anywhere outside of Vegas but magically is!
>oh, and that character we used before wasn't really dead, sorry!
>narrow hallway full of gamebryo combat: the DLC
>no, literally, just a hallway we filled with deathclaws n shit
>oh but don't worry, sometimes Ulysses shows up and does his BEARBULL shtick, so it's not COMPLETELY boring!
Not him but it felt like a tradtional fallout with the ambience instead of some shitty desert inhabited by savages who you have to kill for no reason whatsoever. LR atleast tried to wrap up some of the courier story instead of dumping you in a wilderness with no real purpose. Do this, do that, alright now we're gonna fight these indians, ok done, see ya.
Should work if you just go through all of his dialogue again though
And you don't need raul's quest for any cheevos anyway
You have an Honest Heart. People will tell you Old World Blues is the best dlc, but don't let it bother you. Sense your right path, and theirs
not him, but there WAS a purpose for going north, which was to protect your caravan (which failed and triggered the events of the dlc).
Objective ranking is DM > HH > OWB >>>>>>> LR.
All other opinions are false.
