No, what is being said is that while ET tanked the industry, the fact is most of those games were ETs. They were shit, they were dog shit. They were fossilized dogshit that is cut open to find fossilized shitviruses for some enterprising Scatologican to revive in the modern age and unleash a puppy poopoo plague that causes everyone to shit so fucking hard they turn inside out and also into giant piles of dogshit.

That's how dogshit those games are. The only reason ET stands out is because it was dogshit that was funded by the millions.
