ah. i see.
I honestly love the battle royale setting and the high energy Danganronpa has, but AA (at least the original trilogy, anything that came after AJ is easily inferior to any mainline DR) just has better mysteries and character writing.
Wait a minute, those numbers...
11037? What does it mean?
MEAT ON THE BONE
worst boy
desu the extra twist in CH 1 was kind a neat and didn't see that coming
BONE THE MEAT ON
AHOUAHOUAHOU
DR2 and V3's mysteries were so much better
>implying the first case in phoenix wright wasnt fall down easy
I mean, you see who the killer is from the very start.
DR1 was honestly a great wild ride.
It wasn't really that much about the individual cases but the way the characters and story went.
The cases were still decent though, especially with the trial mechanic.
Don't like the sequels as much.
Ace Attorney is a lot more point-and-click which I like less.
ON THE MEAT BONE
>the first case in the first game is piss easy, therefore it's bad
>complaining about this when the tutorial segments in AA literally reveal the murderer
Danganronpa has a better overarching plot even if it's full of anime bullshit. Ace Attorney is a much more thoughtful where it comes to figuring out the truth.
>Danganronpa has a better overarching plot
The plot went full retard like 12 times.
Ace Attorney barely has any overarching plot at all. It's more like a series of barely connected events. But those events are really damn engrossing on their own.
I still don't get how people fucked this up
At least Ace Attorney Investigations 2 has a really good overarching plot
The clue worked better for Japanese people
This moment is 100x better than anything Ace Attorney has ever done.
That is easily the series' peak. God, it's so fucking good and V3-5 felt particularly weak because it was competing with this.
Idk my dude I think it's on par with the last case in JFA
Fwiw I agree that overall Danganronpa is better than AA, I just like AA more
I tried this far too many times
Finally taking down this frigid bitch was a hell of a lot more satisfying
youtube.com
why does blackened Sonia look so cute?
that case was overrated, dahlia's a shit villain.
As much as I love danganronpa I have to disagree, it comes close but no game will ever give me the goosebumps the last case in trials and tribulations gave me
did someone say M E A T O N T H E B O N E
E N H O
A E N
T E
why is fuyuhiko coming out of hajime's ass?
Why can't I have a mystery game without the anime bullshit and weak uninteresting ""gameplay""
It's called a book
One advantage Danganronpa has over AA is that you spend the entire game with the characters, murderers and victims. In AA 99% of the time I don't really care about the victim or culprit as people.
I liked the end of V3 a ton, I guess I'm in the minority. The way it shit on the other games was amazing and brought the series to a satisfying conclusion.
I really don't see how they make another one unless it's a spin-off.
Fugg
>AA
>boring localized crap holds your hand harder than DR
Well, the two games have different objectives.
DR is about the mystery of who dies next and figuring out how it happened.
AA is about proving what you already know to be true - that your client is innocent.
Playing the series for the first time and the only advantage it has over AA is that I often care about the murder victims. But one thing I dont understand. Why cant they translate the game properly? Theres no reason why I should have to remember a bunch of japanese names
I unironically kind of love DR2 for how its most bullshit moments have brought the community together, kind of like anons sharing memories of other dumb bullshit moments in games. You normally don't get that kind of thing in a VN/single player game, besides stuff like FUCKING LAYTON.
Who else /gravel in the swimsuit/ here?
Don't forget ALIEN FAX MACHINE.
4/10 be ready for those (You)s
But that was a game with more COMPLEX MOTIVES
Snails, man...
The question is where is the murder weapon? Your answer is instinctively to indicate a location, ie ON. It's also a timed event. Everyone obviously knows where the fuck the weapon actually is.
Now you want to nitpick you can go into GRAVEL SWIMSUIT
Im not even baiting
FUCKING DUCK DIMPLES
...
I agree, I thought V3's ending was perfect for the series. I wouldn't complain about a new mainline title, but yeah it'd definitely feel off after the way V3 went.
...
Never Forget.
Who is LEON?
>Junko is loldespair
>Nagito is lolhope
>Kokichi is lollies
Next crazy person in mainline would probably be "loltruth"
I'm not fond of playing games like Ace Attorney, but I definitely love it to bits. That's mainly why I prefer Danganronpa. The play style is more tasteful for my preferences and the characters really resonate with me.
Also, I can't say I'm too smart considering that I'd have to cheat sheet my way through AA more often than DR class trials. Watching playthroughs for all the AA games gave me the impression that I'd never be able to finish a trial on my own.
L O L I S
danganronpa is for autistic children.
ace attorney got too out of hand with its massive cast after trials and tribulations.
Ace Attorney is better solely because it doesn't have a fucking hideous artstyle
The extreme sameface and pink blood in DR are just too hideous to look at
>I see...You fuck childlike teenagers, too. Huh, Shuichi?
my anime waifu >>>>>>> gameplay
now fuck of faggot op
I love both series equally. There's nothing else quite like either of them.
...
I love Junko!
>another Danganronpa thread
You'd rather have another Battlefront 2 and Nioh thread, fucking fag?
I personally would. The shitposting EAfront 2 threads are entertaining as fuck, these threads are mostly waifuposting at this point
Danganronpa's strengths over Ace Attorney is that the entire cast is in on the action at all times. Characters who were once strangers grow to become friends, and either get betrayed, form teams to give each other emotional support and help each other out, or get killed off, leaving the other heartbroken. The cast ends up fleshing out each other's characters by their interactions eith each other.
Ace Attorney's strength is in its ability to create a world and backstories for characters. At first glance in AA1, Miles seems like a slightly generic antagonist that grows to soften up on his desire to win, but the final case reveals everything about his past and what made him the man he was in-game. Later games like AAI2 then expand on the people that were in his early life, like his father, Manfred and Franziska, and Raymond (an entirely new character that was incorporated well and fit with the story perfectly.) I do feel like AA relies too much on this method of storytellig though. Nick's backstory felt pretty bloated in AA4, and Apollo's already starting to get it too despite being a newer character, with his astronaut friend that came out of nowhere.
That mentality is why Sup Forums is full of fucking SJWs and shit.
???
I dont see the inherent correlation between shitposting and social justice warriors
maybe pseduo-SJWs is more appropriate
I see posts focusing on ecelebs and kotaku/polygon cucks all the fucking time. Variety is the spice of life but drone like driving shit into the ground joking or not.
Was the newest game really that bad?
>driving shit into the ground joking or not
That describes DR threads to a fucking T
Nah. People are just memeing because of the ending.
>better mysteries
What. Literally top Danganronpas 1-2, 2-1, 2-5, 3-1, 3-3 and 3-5 with any case from AA.
Ending was controversial
I'm about 5 hours in but I'm liking it. It's more Danganronpa and that's all I ask for.
Is that fucking loss on the right?
>05471
HOLY SHIT GUYS SCREENCAP THIS
>1-2 of all things
>where the actual mystery came from "dude I just messed up the crime scene to make it more fun"
Did any Danganronpa actually ever have a good chapter 6? 5s are usually the strong point.
No.
Big Top Turnabout
DR1 had the least shitty Chapter 6, but not by much
I've played through DR1 and DR2. What was so good about this part?
Was it just Nagito trolling the fuck out of everyone?
Yep
It's like his entire character, even after he's dead
>V3-5 felt particularly weak because it was competing with this.
V3 felt weak because the complete asspull plot twist that should have been veto'd the second the idiot writer thought it up
kill yourself.
the ending is literally jaden smith tier
>3-3
>1-2
3-4 and 1-4 and 2-4 were better
Its an excellent game with the best cast of characters.... but that ending...
FUCK THIS NIGGA AND HIS "SEESAW" TRICK
That's Kokichi though.
Nagito is literally H O P E
DR1's ending: 4 people live and they watch a vault door open
DR2's ending: it was all a simulation and you were one of the villains
I can't see how endings matter in Danganronpa.
>4 people
I dont know man, the PLOTTWIST was not bad, but too much "MUH FICTION". Just take a shot with every time FICTION is mentioned on the last class trial
Of all the ones to pick from 3 you pick the fucking seesaw trick.
It was actually six (seven) people that left.
HEY TENKO DO YOU LIKE SEESAWS
