Are you excited for Black Friday?

Are you excited for Black Friday?

Sólo por el Buen Fin.

yeah im getting all the 20-30$ tier switch games and fliping them for twice the money

the reason why this only happens in america is because they are the only country who gets good deals

>no switch deals
Damnit it's the only thing I wanted

A lot of stores actually have rules now on Black Friday, for instance some stories only let so many people in at a time, also they make you line up in an orderly fashion as well. It's first come first serve, and some people will camp in line for days just to be the first one inside. We have a group of people who camp in front of Best Buy EVERY year, they say it became a tradition for them. I guess it depends on the location and the store, but I know my Wal-Mart will make you line up, and they only let so many people inside.

>camping out for $50 off a $300 TV
jesus christ some people

I'm going to constantly refresh every site. Except Walmart and Best Buy. Like another user said in a past thread, those sites will crash Firefox before you can actually find a live deal.

What kind of vapid excuse for a human being comes to the conclusion that camping in front of a store in order to pay, albeit slightly less than the regular price, for generic products no one gives a fuck about is somehow NOT something complete losers do?

It's a lot more than just that. Some retail stores hand out $50 gift cards to the first wave of customers.

no it's because many people here are fucking savages who should be hunted down and killed in their own homes. people have been trampled to death on black fridays. it's like watching the african wilderness on national geographic channel.

that's very clearly not america

have you seem people crying of happiness when Maduro (the president of Venezuela) allowed the people to loot electronic stores? they got out happy and crying of joy with their TVs and tablets

It's more about the experience, like they claim it's "fun" and not so much about the deals. Though some people see $50 off $300 as a big deal, even though it's not, of course it's something so take it or leave it.

Why don't people just buy online instead of straight up killing each other?

I lost all my hopes in humanity when I witnessed people in line for apple products in Canada
Then I realized democracy is the greatest mistake of mankind. Since we can't do nothing about it I just decided to spend my days playing video games and watching 80s movies

Well there are online shopping sites that have their own deals for black friday, like I believe Amazon has black friday deals, and so do other popular online shopping sites.

You're right. Too many white people.

>Black Friday has spread to Mexico, UK and Saudi Arabia
No one is safe from the eternal anglo, not even himself.

is this real? shouldn't they be upset at the lack of food and the crumbling economy?

Oh shit. This is a good idea.
Are there any trade in promos going on?

Black Friday is way too much effort for what you get. Even online shopping is a pain in the ass. I can't believe people still fall for it.

Does steam have black friday?

Also here we have Black fraude instead of black friday.

All online retailers State side should. Hell, I'm already planning to pick up glasses from an online store for at least a BOGO that hasn't been advertised yet, but they do it every year.

honestly im surprised retail stores haven't figured out a way to do multiple black friday things a year if they did an off season thing with a bunch of pr they would still make heaps

It's real it was in november or december 2015
there are tons of videos on youtube. I could be wrong but the people want free stuff so they actually like that kind of thing even if the president is starving the population

I pirate everything, I already get the best deals

I've never been more proud to be American.

*wipes tear with cheeseburger^

but you can't get Ys VIII or Yakuza limited edition
regardless piracy is the best deal and it's not limited to 1 day of the year

>gets no future installments of favorite series
>best deal

I dunno, man...

I hope steam don't do scammy technique like raising the price 1 or 2 months before the Black Friday to sell it at normal price.

Stores here does it a lot.

that's what moralfags are for, they love buying on my behalf

This. It's great to be mexican master race.

People didn't buy Blue Reflection and NIghts of Azure
I hate western gamers. They all believe in metacritic garbage

It's been black friday all month.
Next year it'll probably be black friday on halloween and sooner.

Its okay user, most games are shit these days.
Let them die.

>tfw the only thing I was hoping would go on sale was the TCL P605/7
Oh well

Can't wait.

fuck, i just started at target 3 months ago. gotta work b-friday this year..

>buy games new, sometimes day one
>many flop and the series is never heard from again
>pirate several games
>most do very well and get several sequels

yeah, I'm with you. let rich people buy stuff. this is the way people want the system to work, who am I to argue.

>buying 4K tv
>buying a tv more than "28 inch
your life is a mistake

>tfw you no longer work in electronics retail
I actually get to relax this Friday.

>work for a mom&pop store
>owners let employees buy stuff for the wholesale price that they buy the stock for

Nope.

previously on AMC The Walking Dead.

Those games really are garbage though

That woman seriously needs to be cropped out with an "ACKSHUALLY" caption over it

>local microcenter had an early black friday deal for SSDs
>not gonna have to suffer through Black Friday in store or online

>that one landwhale that has to try and eat people
That photo really loses it's impact once you notice it's just the fat bitch causing problems.

is it just me or are people starting to not care about black friday anymore?

the big craze about it has mostly gone away, especially since most people just buy shit online.

They aren't
You have FPS/MMO taste

You know what I hate? This Black Thursday bullshit. Stores trying to encourage people to show up for sales on Thursday when you're in the middle of Thanksgiving prep or eating. If you don't go then everything gets sold out before actual Black Friday.

What's the predicted death toll for this year?

Wouldn't even stop to shit on a 40" TV these days.

>worked at Best Buy
>able to buy things at wholesale price + 5% on tens of thousands of products
>get accommodations for products to get them at 50% to 90% off MSRP
>black friday is still worth it

>there are people who scream at stores and try to grab a TV like they are grabbing 300 billion dollars
and then people call Sup Forums users crazy

>tfw you're working on Black Friday
At least I'm not opening or closing

I love Black Friday.
I once stole an entire year's supply of house supplies. 4 times in and out the store with a full cart.

Better than j"rpg" shit

isn't black friday a scam nowadays
they just jack up the price before the event and then stamp % off when it's still the same old price

Only thing I wanted was Ass Creed Origins and already got that at release.Might pick up Shadow of War on Steam if it goes on sale.

>FPS/MMO
>better than anything
Could be better than click-point adventure. At best

you COULD pay

or be this fucker

No? You can view the prices of things prior to buying the exact same product. PS4's were $300 prior to a sale.

Don't worry user, you'll be suffering with a lot of your other co-workers as well. At least you'll be in it with everyone else, also most major retailers have plans in place on Black Friday so it's not a mad house, like just ask your manager or supervisor how they're planning to set up Black Friday, I'm sure they'll tell you. Usually people line up and they let so many people in the store at a time, but just stick with your co-workers/supervisor and you'll survive the night. I'm also sure they'll tell the employees how Black Friday will work anyway, so it's not like you won't be in the dark about it.

no because I'm not going to play at being a fucking jew.

Generally yes. A lot of the electronics that are sold for outrageous discounts, such as the 40 inch TVs are chink shit tier products that wouldn't sell at any other time. I recall stopping by a best buy one morning to find a shit load of no name brand televisions being slowly purchased by people who had zero knowledge of what they were aside from them being big tvs.

it's just you.

I thought they make chink-ass products specifically for Black Friday to trick people with.

In the 90s almost every CRT tv sold had at least some kind of quality
People cared for JVC, Sony, Samsung, Toshiba... today all they care is the size of the screen and ''Youtube/Netflix" apps

RIP in pieces sweet prince.

maybe companies should i dunno, advertise.

>Go to Best Buy on the night of Black Friday
>Get in line
>Young white trash couple is in front of me
>Overhear them talking
>He looks at his girlfriend/wife and says
>"We're only buying this really big TV to build credit so we can buy a house!"
>Hold my laughter
>Just go back to listening to music

it's really not.

How do you advertise weeb games?

Not even the apps, just the size of the screen. This was years ago and if I recall some of the televisions were 720 resolution.
Yeah, pretty much the same thing. Or of the legitimate products, lesser versions are put up for sale masquerading as the normal version. When I was in retail we had a shit load of garbage versions of some tablets shipped to the store specifically for black friday.

well the worst part for me is that they cut off the time and a half pay at midnight. it seems like they go out of their way to not give a shit about their employees.

But yea, I'll probably just play it cool and kinda just let my boss tell me what to do

Holy shit, what?

more ads on steam, websites. hell, try some dam tv.

After 2014 companies stopped selling 1080p for 28 and 32" so you still see a lot of people buying 720p tvs
In fact in some countries where they live in small rooms like western europe I bet a lot of people own 720p tvs thinking they are enjoying 4K content

What?

wow, ps4 really does have no games.

Most things sold are done at a loss during Black Friday, but there are a ton of sales that are very similar throughout the year. For electronics stores, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Back to School, Veteran's Day, Blue Tuesday, Superbowl, etc.

I don't even know, dude. I mean, just what?

>mfw buy all games from hong kong and singapore
>mfw all physical copies are bought for 45 dollars on the month of release
>mfw I don't give money to western companies not even western retailers

imagine seeing this on tv.

>mfw work in cold storage
>mfw easiest and best paying job of my life by a fucking mile
>mfw I have a four day weekend in the slowest period of the fiscal year
>mfw I'll have my new computer parts installed and fully upgraded by saturday
>mfw I never ever have to deal with the hell that is working retail on black friday ever again
Life is good. Don't get killed over an Xbox or anything like that.

What the fuck is wrong with americans?

That's illegal in the US btw

show a 6 second action sequence to get interest and then put a giant

GAMEOFANIME.COM for more details. boom.

>like they claim it's "fun" and not so much about the deals
Not going to lie I kind of enjoy it despite not buying much. I like walking around the store with its limited time setup, it's like when kids make blanket forts.

define working in cold storage

what job? I'm unemployed since 2013

That's sad that needs a government intervention to make this shit work.

cold storage?

maybe i buy nintendo switch 50 dollar

>mfw same situation, but different job
>mfw 5 day weekend
Feels so good man

>there must be more to life

Why does Disney let people do this to their intellectual property?

maybe i buy playstation 5 40 dollar

its canon
