Enjoying a game as anything less than a major pillar of your top 5 video games ever means you only like it at a surface level, cannot share any meaningful opinions with others, and are working to the detriment of the franchise as a whole.

Nobody licked it in the first place, it's just Nintendo knew the small cartridges would be choking hazards for small kids, so they purposely made them taste bad so kids would spit them out if they ended up putting them in their mouth. Retards just ended up licking the cartridges to confirm the bad taste, like Nintendo claimed.

No. If you don't worship a given game with everything you have, then you're just jumping on the bandwagon and have shit taste. If you like any game similar in design, aesthetic, setting, or direction you are just letting the game industry wallow in a derivative torpor that can only be cured by you taking a long walk off a short peer.

People who ask for "Sup Forums-approved games" will say any game is good so long someone else on Sup Forums says so.

I'm not sure I entirely agree with that. It's entirely possible to really love a game while being aware of its shortcomings. More so if the game DOESN'T have a bandwagon, or is even seen as bad by popular opinion. I'm also not sure if it's possible for two games to not share ANY aesthetic similarity. I see what you're getting at, fighting against game devs wallowing in laziness and repeating proven formulas without alteration, but I think there's a slippery slope within your argument. For example, would you lambast someone for liking both Persona 5 and Ace Attorney just because they both share an anime aesthetic?
