Because Janina Gavankar is literally the ideal wife and it makes me sad I'll never get to be with her.

She has the personality of a generic male lead, so I'm not exactly sure what's so "threatening" about her presence.

Emperor Palpatine and Lord Vader had brought peace, justice and security to the galaxy, and she spits all over that.

Lara Croft from that new Tomb Raider game, you know, the one where she is portrayed as a realistic person with realistic fears and weaknesses, was fucking amazing. I loved the character and it felt awesome when she was able to overcome both trial and tribulation. The problem with the character in your picture is that shes a Mary Sue. She has no definable weakness. Shes a stronk womyn who don't need no man. The sexes compliment one another. The moment you get a character that decides they're too good for everyone else, too unbelievably good at everything, and too "amazing" at what they do, they stop being a likable character. This also goes for male characters.

The whole shtick here is that shes a woman. Thats literally her entire character. She also has a "stare" that could freeze Vader in his place or some stupid laughably bad bullshit. The only person Vader fears is himself and what hes become.

I find it absolutely titillating that a mixed-race female elite Imperial commando is one of the most powerful and badass non-force users in the galaxy along with being the lead character of a massive flagship Star Wars title, a brand whose playerbase is overwhelmingly dominated by white men.
