MY NAME IS VIKTOR! REZNOV! AND I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE
>BO3 didn't continue from BO2
I am still fucking mad
Reminds me of Manhunt 2. You've got guys who have hyper-competent mass murderers in their head, doing some weird co-op shit but it's all just you.
Like, you could probably turn that into an "augmentation" in Deus Ex, where you've got this other guy in your head being mission control and other stuff.
>BO3 was unnecessarily convoluted
I am still fucking confused
Probably because of the multiple endings
They could have pulled a deus ex
I dropped it after the first level because i was mad, so I have no idea what its even about
>pulled a deus ex
To be fair, people would bitch about that. But yeah I get what you mean, pulling that off would've been preferable.
i forgot most of it, but i remember it being an absolute mess with a "it was all a simulation" ending making everything even more moot
there were only 2 references to bo2, one was the gas or whatever and i forgot the other one.
what a shitfest after bo1&2 which were fun action movies
>Got meme'd into buying it because shills were hyping it up on Sup Forums
>Got to the second mission before dropping it entirely
It felt like a Chinese knockoff of Titanfall.
I wonder whats next for 3arc. Obviouly they are done with black ops. They should return to nam
in this life or the next
the multiplayer was miles ahead of titanfall
>Slow as shit movement that might as well be locked on a grid
>Compared to the two fastest shooters of this generation
Yeah, I don't think so.
yeah titanfall had more potential, too bad they fucked it up with shitty gunplay, bad maps and shooting bots
I dropped it after the train level. Seriously, what the fuck was i playing. It just didn't grab me like BO 1 and 2. How do you fuck that up. You have 2 games with fucking awesome stories, and you fuck it up with the 3rd because you wanted "Muh future setting".
FUCK, still mad.
looks dope what game this?
Mmkay.
>yfw first time playing this mission
Black Ops 1's campaign was a masterpiece
That mission was hell on veteren
man makes me want to play through Black Ops again, what a fuckin great campaign. Seriously, give me the black ops campaign over mw any day. cept for 3, man speak about wasted potential and being boring.
Not like CoD was ever necessarily balanced for veteran.
why russians are always bad? are they really bad in real life?
Fuck man, my normie friends sold me on it solely on the "it's Treyarch, their games are always good." They even convinced me to miss classes that day to play that pile of garbage. I knew after only a few hours of multiplayer and like 2 campaign missions that the game was terrible, meanwhile they ate that shit up. Honestly, I wish my taste in vidya could be so simple again. Hardly anything but older titles hold me for more than a few hours.
>barely remember anything from BLOPS 3
>meanwhile my fondest FPS memories come from WAW, BLOPS 1 and 2.
The first three games were absolutely amazing, shame 3 was so lackluster.
Zombies was great fun in 3 though, much better than 2.
american propaganda always shows them as cold hearted and ruthless so they're easily made the bad guy
>Holds eastern Europe at gun point for 50 years or so.
>Genocide and some other stuff post-WWII.
>Sets up North Korea.
>Be antagonistic towards the US for no reason other than communism.
>Passes information of the nukes to the Chinese.
The US isn't a saint, but the Soviets were kind real life bad guys. They were better than the Chinese though.
I really don't intend to sound like an intellectual, but I think the first time I began noticing that my tastes in vidya were becoming less and less simple was with Bioshock Infinite. Holy fucking Christ that game was so bad. Infinite and Borderlands 2 quite honestly ruined the first person shooter genre for me for years. It was something I could never shake when I played them. I honestly think those are the games (Dead Island included) that really made me start wising up.
The first level is real, parts of the last level are real, everything in between is an AI driven recreation of Taylor's memories while you're linked with him through the DNI and your body is being operated on, the operation fails and your body dies however the AI controlling the DNI network makes a backup of your mind and puts you into Taylor's body, while his consciousness becomes a bug in the system.
Eventually with Taylor's help, you purge the DNI data, killing the AI and give Taylor his body back, you also erase yourself in the process.
Shit like this makes me want buy blops 1 on pc and replay. Is it still active on pc at all?
no, i checked a year ago but all you can find are maybe 10 nuketown TDM servers
MARTYR ME FOR CORDIS DIE
>we want the phantom pain audience
STEP 8 REZNOV... FREEDOM!
FOR YOU MASON... NOT FOR ME!
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOV
for you
The numbers mason
>WaW
Now there was a fun campaign that isn't glitched to fuck. Fuck those grenades though. WWII's campaign is fucking terrible after The Death Machine.
Wow. Just like US today, huh.
there's a side quest in Mankind Divided where you deal with someone that happens to
pure kino
youtube.com
Wii version best version. IR aiming 2gud
You realize it was on pc, right?
i re-iterate.
>Commies are gone
>Capitalism has no competition
>Capitalism becomes an abusive monopoly
really makes you think
This game had the best storyline out of all CODs. And the main characters name was Mason which is my name, you have no idea how many times I've heard "THE NUMBERS MASON!"
The wii version, aside from obviously not being HD, was missing content every other version of the game had. Don't be an idiot.
i re-iterate
What do they mean?
Overly convoluted, it's just a dying dream.
Also, what's with the giant hearts you burn then?
You don't remember it because you didn't have any memorable allies.
You had Reznov in WaW and BO, who also had Woods. BO2 had Harper. BO3 had that one guy who goes insane halfway through, but you feel no attachment to him.
>train
>boom
>dumb child me
>thought Blops was a sequel after MW2
And that's how I started using the internet more effectively.
everyone shits on COD
and i do the same also.
still i recognize this black ops campain + MP +zombies as a bretty good game.
i could never forget "the numbers mason , what do they mean?"
or "...all must die"
>still i recognize this black ops campain + MP +zombies as a bretty good game.
the campaign was garbage and the MP was just MW2.1:" Slightly less broken, and with smaller maps" edition
Can somebody tell me how does the new CoD campaign compares to World at War? Is it trying to recreate the same gritty atmosphere or is it closer to CoD 1 and 2?
>treyarch cod is next
this is good right?
>like 500 players on pc
>every single server is complete shit
>you will never play this game in its prime ever again
>V likes call of duti
lmao
>The entire plot of BO3
>You can't understand shit unless you take screenshots of mission intro cutscenes at specific frames
K i n o
>Hey guys. Thanks for tuning in to InRangeTV...
WE WANTED STEINER ALIVE
what exact point of BO3 campaign anyway? you basically tripped before dying. and?
This is an example of an objectively wrong statement.
>masterpiece
I wouldn't go that far. Level design was utter garbage and the stealth sections were literally "do exactly as the AI says or fail". It's a stark contrast to MW1 and 2's stealth sections which let you do whatever you want. Dragovitch was also a generic, boring villiain.
The top 3 CoD campaigns are:
>MW2
>MW1
>BO2
Unsurprisingly, those 3 are also the top 3 best games in the series overall.
>Regular cod
>The villain is some terrorist or an evil foreign leader
>Blops
>The villain is a spic whose sister got severly burned because of the US so he orchestrates a plan to topple all major world governments that lasts for like 50 years and involves future technology and hypnosis of a small boy, and in the process he takes one of your buddies prisoner and forces him to eat the rotting flesh of his soldiers and drink their blood for weeks, among other things
Reznov was a gud boi
I unironically agree
>hey, remember that headband?
>yeah, it was a deliberate detail
Shame they decided to go so cryptic.
WW2 campaign was a disappointment, enemies are bullet sponges story is forgettable characters are ridiculous. Treyarch will save this franchise with anoter Vietnam war campaign or Korean war campaign
Menendez was definitely memorable, but General Shepard will always be my favourite CoD villain. The writers of MW2 really ran a mile with his Great Man complex.
I keep saying it in cod threads but I still don't get the whole Price and the nuke/EMP part.
Was it to get Shepherd a blank check because the Pentagon believed the Russians had launched a nuke at the US?
Was it simply to aid the Burgers in beating Russians in Washington?
How does it relate to Shepherd saying that there will be like 50k casualities? Do people actually die or was that because they believed it to be a regular nuke?
I cant be the only one who really loved the infinite warfare single player, right? It's probably my favorite in the series.
It was decent, antagonist is really, really weak. but your folks are likable some are memorable. credit scene almost teared me up. it was decent, yeah.
THE NUMBERS, BATEMAN.
TELL US ABOUT THE NUMBERS.
Nukes have an EMP effect when detonated at high altitudes. This shut down electronics on both sides and allowed the U.S. forces to turn the tables. Shepherd didn't want this because he wanted to keep the war going so he could continue to play hero.
Personally, I find it interesting that Price is the only one who saw through Shepherd's BS right away. Makes you wonder what his time in the gulag taught him.
*reddit likes cod
You do know that Sup Forums died aeons ago, right?
Played it today and there are a good number of active servers, if you don't mind wading through Nuketown only and "Tactical Crouch" servers.
Blops 1 truly was the last good COD.
>ywn play Kino zombies for the first time again
The only remotely memorable character was Elliot Stabler because celebrity cameo and train go boom
>recruit difficulty
what is the appeal of fucking cod zombies i played with my friend forcibly i still dont get it
Kino is literal KINO
imagine designing a map to be so easily achievable that even a literal sperg with 0% accuracy needs to be able to complete it
only chads can appreciate cod zombies, you must be too beta to enjoy it
>yfw this music came on youtube.com
the US financed and created the Jewjet Union under both guys that looked like jews with the name Roosevelt(Ashkenazi). Creation was 1903 under Teddy and massive financing was 1932 under Franklin.
My friend is a big CoD fan, and he told me that the WW2 campaign was meh. Apparently there's a mission where you infiltrate a Nazi base undercover that's quite good, but everything else is underwhelming.
five what?!
>it ain't me LITERALLY starts playing
Really Treyarch?
the cod zombies map FIVE
The next Treyarch COD is in 2018. Literally always the kino COD games.
the best vietnam maps came from call of duty, what the fuck.
>Roosevelt(Ashkenazi)
What is it with American anti-Semites and labelling any name that sounds Dutch or German a Jewish name?
i enjoyed it back in WaW when i was a dumb teen. Growing up, i fail to see what the appeal could be. I enjoy the music they made for the trailers the most at this point
Five's intro was pure kino.
Why can't there be more entire crazy exploitation action comedy games like this that don't wear themselves thin?
Heh. Were you like 14 or something when the BO dropped? I can picture you getting bullied.
I've completed every campaign but BO3. It was absolutely shit.
Did anyone play the Infinite Warfare campaign? it was actually pretty good desu
