I think this looks great, fuck Digital Foundry.

It's bearable if you turn down/off motion blur for the most part, but there are definitely some areas that chug when shit gets hectic. Plus for some reason it seems to run considerably worse in arcade mode.
Still pretty fun, though. I seem to recall the online play complete ass last year but it's kinda enjoyable now, if a bit routine.
If you haven't played it on PC I guess it looks fine. Ultimately it's still massively impressive.
You must be blind. It looks ok on portable mode because the screen is small but it looks fucking horrible on the dock.
Check your eyes.
I hope this is bait.
>fuck Digital Foundry
??? I only skipped around their video, but they said it looked and ran great considering the Switch's hardware?
I played most of the campaign on TV mode but when I played in handheld it felt pretty amazing to see a game looking like that on a handheld. It's too bad the controls are really uncomfortable for an FPS, but that's also because I hardly play in portable mode.
Yeah but they didn't praise it for being the best version of the game, which it is, so they're wrong.
I only experienced really bad choppy framerate during 2 or 3 battles, on the default difficulty. I got really worried the first time, but there were instances where there were still a lot of enemies yet it was fine. Maybe it's a combination of a lot of enemies and an environment where there's a lot of graphical effects going on. Other than that I wouldn't notice bad framerates.
>Nintendies being this delusional
>Falling for a false flag this obvious.
Thirteenth Tribe, You win. The Goyim really are that fucking stupid.
Considering how astoundingly well optimized the PC port was, is it really a surprise they managed to get something playable on the switch?
you need glasses
and maybe brain surgery
Why not just pirate on PC and play it?
Is this just Nintengaf problems?
If you are just using it for portability must be easy to switch between the two?
Playable and not running like ass are two different things user.
I wish FromSoft would work with Nintendo. I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to optimize Dark Souls 1 for switch, that game can run on a potato laptop with low settings.
they are user.
apparently 3 can run on the switch at a level they are happy with. 1 is slightly broken in terms of performance (2 runs much better even with DSfix on 1) but i wouldnt be surprised if we got a trilogy of games.
shiit I was ignorantly unaware that they were already partners. Hope that works out.
>apparently 3 can run on the switch at a level they are happy with.
Stop repeating Laura Kate Dale's bullshit.
its a rumor, doesnt state that they would consider it or that we are getting a port just that they have it running on the hardware. not to mention shes been right before on things that seemed impossible. my post was really just to say that fromsoft is working with nintendo and we might see souls on the system. im sure if true with 3 we would see a gimped version but i honestly wouldnt be surprised if they sacrificed a lot to get it running. i also wouldnt be surprised if they did it just to see what they could do with the system for what ever they are developing for the switch in general. Dont let your hate boner for laura keep you from thinking it may happen. just dont get hyped till after and announcement. and even then until you see actual gameplay/its out
I'd buy it if they fix the frame pacing and the occasional bugs like the audio cutting out or getting really quiet until you get to a loading screen. Mostly the latter than the former.
