Not DMC3 at least, the button inputs are tasking but the animations are not as fast as to not give you enough time to move your fingers around.
K for jump, J to attack, L for item/ability, U for super, I for inventory

I always just had problems getting timing down, which I got better with, but added to the nature of how the game controls it wasn't a ton of fun.
DmC went way too far in the other direction, but the one thing I will give that game is that they at least tried to do something different with the controls (even if it lost a ton of charm along the way).
