Actually on X tons of people are replaying earlier titles now that they have X Enhancements. In fact, all titles are given a noticeable performance boosts without any extra dev work needed.

Backwards compatibility is overrated. Even if PS4 had BC I still wouldn't get rid of my PS3 if only for the blu ray player and ability to play PS1 disks.

Backwards compatibility offers nothing that the xbox version different bar vsync on titles that didn't have. If you're expecting 1080p 60fps on all or even any titles you're shit out of luck.

It's dropping the value of all their other products. For like 150 you can get a One S, with a ton of Xbox 360 and original Xbox backwards compatibility coming.

Pretty much all of this. The Black Friday sale they're having is insane. I also appreciate the game gifting and digital refunds. The biggest thing for me is how they handled BC. I love the fact that all of my old ass games look better. Lost Odyssey at 60fps is really nice as are Fallout 3 and Oblivion.

Because S is literally the X except it doesn't have 4k and a few random enhancements. A lot of games aren't even running at 4k, they're like 1440p.

They must have patched them old games then because LO is running at 60fps. The Witcher 3 was also running at 60 per patch with some drops here and there. The console is just raw power for those old games. No more jaggies, either.
