Pearl is best girl confirmed.
Pearl is best girl confirmed
>Breath of the Snore
If that is what we’re voting against then of course Metroid.
I like both Fantasy and Sci-Fi.
Fuck Zelda.
is this official art?
pretty sure it is, I can tell by the pixels
>ded franchise vs game of the year all years
>pearl still going to win because people love the awful little goblin
i love the awful little goblin too
>That giant ass forehead on navi.
THE BABY
I like these sorts of crossover bits, reminds me of the Cartoon Network crossover promos.
On the other hand, I think it's cool that they're doing a Samus bump here alongside Zeldo, hopefully Metroid is getting comparable attention
It's so dumb how people say that archetypal elements like a princess in need of rescue automatically makes a story less interesting. In reality, it's completely the opposite. When your story has no central conflict that's easy to understand, people get bored more easily. It's the largest problem for games where people say, "It gets good after you're like 30 hours in". BotW is a great example of how you can take a simple story of a princess needing rescue as your opening hook, and slowly introduce more complex elements to the characters as you go. BotW takes its time by having the memories and other champions be scattered around the world. If the player doesn't care for the story, they can breeze right through it. If the player wants to sink their teeth into a more complex narrative, those elements exist for them as well.
>Navi Pearl
That's adorable.
Well who knows, maybe Prime 4 will revitalize Metroid like BOTW did for Zelda
>Ded franchise
this was true pre e3
>that Navi
>They didn't even tried fixing Pearl ugly assface by putting the helmet it wouldn't fit i guess
So what is the context of Zelda crying in this latest game? Does nobody ever take that into consideration? Just
>She's crying, fuck her!
>that pearl navi
Kekked
Why have the entire story take place in flashbacks? I'd rather play through shit like the destruction of Hyrule instead of being told about it 100 years later. All the cool shit already happened.
...
whats the wrong with that? navi is just a blob of light, why is a forehead the problem?
She's the worst part of the game by far.
She's crying because their plan fucking fell apart immediately, all their friends are dead, she's failing her f, and everything is going to absolute shit while she's still basically magically challenged.
I think, like a lot of cliches, they rely on the trope to cover up for shitty execution.
The best example of how great the "Rescue the Princess" story has been executed has been The Thousand Year Door for me.
Mario is working to try to get the thing that the villains wanted while Peach, as Yatzee put it, "is a diplomat, not a fighter" and used her wits to aid Mario from within.
She still needed saving but she was also integral to the story aside from being a cheap way of making the stakes personal for Mario. She was still not able to break herself out but she could still subvert her captors.
It's all in the execution
That space suit is fly as fuck, hope we get something like it in Metroid Prime 4
Is the US splatfest happening right now?
It's not a problem. I just find it humorous.
Yep, today I think
Whoever drew this shit webcomic clearly didn't play the game.
>Tiny one gets Amazon goddess.
>Big one gets Manlet
???
The game wasn't even out yet at the time. People love to jump to conclusions like this.
I wish I could
