Just be yourself you fucking retard.
The only reason I'm playing the PC version of RE4 is so because I cheated the game into giving me a silencer in the main game.
Do you want me to tell you when to shoot too?
That would be appreciated user
You should just kill yourself.

were born sometime after 2000 by any chance
Keep the standard handgun, use when you can.
TMP is best gun
Skip the rifle, only get for Island mob
Sell Broken butterfly for unupgraded Killer7
In order of your questions
Almost always
For big guys
For lots of weak guys
Almost never unless it's regenerator time
For biggest guys
For big guys or big crowds
Never ever until ng+
If the enemy can be set up for suplexes or other melees safely
Ashley is fine without health upgrades
And right up your own ass
>When should I be using the handgun
Constantly faggot. Using other guns is a crutch for your lack of skill.
The entire game can be beaten with the knife and handgun. Don't be a shitter.
>uses the tmp
>uses the striker
>uses the killer7
>uses the semi-auto
>keeps that many healing items in the inventory
>Barely any ammo for all weapons
>uses the tactical vest
>mixes 3 greens multiple times
>keeps incendiary granades
>keeps the scopes
>takes damage
>upgrades leon's health
Holy fuck, kill yourself.
Fuken hell m8
It makes any difference?
>using anything but a pistol
>the stock is after the tmp and not behind it
You son of a bitch.
You can sneak attack enemies with it but otherwise, no. It doesn't carry over the benefits Wesker has from Mercenaries (I think he gets a 5x crit rate when the Exclusive upgrade only gives it a 4x crit).
>1v1 or you're able to funnel enemies into a line
Use the handgun to stagger one, melee, knife one guy while everyone else is stunned
>big group
one shotgun shot to knock them down, knife one guy while everyone else is stunned
>far away
sniper
>boss or really strong enemy
magnum/sniper
>When should I be using the handgun?
All the time. It should be your main weapon. Don’t waste time upgrading the default one; wait until you get the Blacktail or Red9
>When should I be using the shotgun?
Bosses and Big Guys (chainsaw dudes, mobs of Ganados, etc).
>When should I be using the TMP?
never. Sell it and all its ammo.
>When should I be using a rifle?
Never, unless you really want to.
>When should I be using a magnum?
See Shotgun
>When should I be using grenades?
See Shotgun
>When should I be using the mine thrower?
Never. It’s useless.
>When should I be using the knife?
All the time in addition to your handgun. Use it to conserve ammo (cutting enemies on the ground). Never shoot enemies in the body or on the ground.
pic unrelated
>1v1
Use the handgun you scrub
>Big Group
Use the handgun you scrub
>Far Away
Use the handgun you scrub
>Boss or really strong enemy
Use the handgun you scrub
This. I've literally never got even close to running out of ammo because how intuitive/easy it is to stagger and kick.
The stock handgun is argually better due to the exclusive upgrade.
Yeah but for first playthroughs it’s a lot of effort for a gun that’s gonna suck for a majority of the game
TMP is great. Striker is the best shotgun, Killer 7 is better than the Butterfly as it is cost effective. I didn't typically use Rifles in these games but bought it and upgraded it completely immediately.
I don't get hit so that's why I have a lot of health. There are more Greens than red and yellow which is why I made solids
Why are you so mad?
Daily reminder that unless you plan on doing ng+, the killer7 is better.
>Aim pistol
>pull trugger
>POP
>SQUISH
Name a more satisfying noise in vidya
How's the progress for the HD textures mod?
The broken butterfly has a better relod, therefore it is better

try it and find out
there's no "right" way to play re4
No way, my dude. The tmp is especially good against El gigantes for its dps (yeah you can knife them but the tmp is still good) and mobs because of its staggering power.
Also I feel the need to make it explicit to knife crates and not to shoot them, I've seen way too many people doing that, it's insane.
Leon never has to reset the slide after reloading, what's up with that?
Not really, even on Proffessional it kills most enemies except the ones with armored heads. With a pistol you should only be aiming for the head or kneecap
I'd say it's about 2/3 done I think? You can download the village and castle sections already.
>El Gigante
I’ll give you that, but anyone who can’t take down a mob using only a pistol either has ADHD or poor aim.
What are the best weapons for professional new game+ that aren't unlockables
It's also free.
It's not about good aiming, sometimes you can get surrounded, no grenades, no ammo for your shotgun. The tmp is a good alternative in case you get panicked. Plus it's fun to use.
>spoiler
We don’t take kindly to your kind around here
Rule of cool is dumb. And the cost to put the BB's power to the killer7s is 210,000pts and can only get to that point by chapter 5:3 while the killer7 is 77,000pts to buy and you get it early on in chapter 5:1. So ill say it again, if you are not planning on doing a ng+ then the killer7 is objectively better.
Maybe I’m flexing my Leon skills involuntarily, but I’ve never been so overwhelmed that I couldnt take care of a group or boss on Professional difficulty. That’s just me though.
Not even on your first playthrough?
>tfw playing the elevator part in the castle for the first time
It got close to being overwhelming.
I dunno, I’m stranely good at using pistols in any game. I “mastered” the pistol by the castle area
This pretty much
Did I do good Sup Forums
I fucking love Resident Evil 4
>When should I be using the handgun?
The handgun should be your main weapon for dealing with single, standard enemies or small groups. Always go for a headshot or a setup for a melee attack.
>When should I be using the shotgun?
When dealing with crowds, shield enemies or big enemies like the Chainsaw guys who you'll want to knock down.
>When should I be using the TMP?
The TMP is one of the most debatable and contentious weapons in the game. It can be really useful if used right, but forgoing it and focusing on other weapons is also a viable tactic. I'd suggest using it for its melee capabilities or against crowds.
>When should I be using a rifle?
As a utility weapon if you need to snipe/cheese people, or against Regenerators with the thermal scope. Some people like to use the Bolt Action as a boss-killer, but I prefer the Semi-Auto as a utility/headshot weapon.
>When should I be using a magnum?
Against bosses.
>When should I be using grenades?
Frag and Flame grenades are good for crowd control or stunning big enemies. Flashbangs should be saved for killing plagus enemies.
>When should I be using the mine thrower?
It's not recommended unless you know what you're doing.
>When should I be using the knife?
Against enemies you've stunned or knocked down for free damage, though only do this when it's safe. Also, never shoot open boxes. Just knife them. Get into the habit of swinging the knife twice on boxes to kill any sneks that are hiding inside.
>Should I use yellow herbs on myself or ashley?
Yourself. Ashley shouldn't need them if you know what you're doing, and upgrading Leon's health is way, way more useful.
