I need some ideas. What's your stock character names to use in an RPG, according to classes? Inb4 Coldsteel
Character Names thread
Megumin, or Meguman.
Depending on context,
I look up words that mean certain things to match with the kind of character I'd use.
For example,
if I'm going to have a fire centric character,
I'd search for names that mean fire and come across something like
Mishal (meaning fire but also to govern and religious scriptures)
For me it doesn't have to be exact meaning but something kind of cool to me.
I just use finnish. Others have no idea what it means and fellow finns know that I'm one too.
I just name everyone after anime characters
I always name my characters after food. I dont know why, I just do.
I've been using Yomiel for a year now and it's worked well enough.

I've always named my characters Randal
My name isn't Randal and I don't know anyone named Randal, it's just a name I chose once and it's easier to just use it than think up anything else
Megumax
Shiveriron
Micah. Not sure where it came from but I know I first used it on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.
I love retarded doodle Megumin.
I always use the name of a certain Yu-Gi-Oh anime character that people mistake for a love live.
My little sister generally just uses the scientific names of jellyfish species.
i name all my mages Tim
I want to FUCK that retarded goddess.
I take the names from the magatama from Nocturne and use them for my characters. Some times I butcher the names a bit for added verity.

Avoiding edgy names is a problem for me. In EOV, I made my Necromancer a redhead with a normal skin color and named her Aubrey.
Warrior:
For fighter-warriors use hard names with syllables like -kar -tor -un. For example melkar or gantor.
For mages use complex and vaguely biblical/latin names like galbarius or dalumus.
For thieves/rogues use short and grimey names like flea or yort.

my real name is logan, and it's unisex, so I usually name my mains that or a variation of the name. Saves a lot of time and I've done it for years. After that, karras for guys, sara for girls. But if it's a race that has a specific naming convention, like argonians, I'll come up with a lore friendly name like Enjoys-Eating-Bark. It seems weird to me playing an Orc named Chris.
