For those of you aching for some Genesis action, there's always Dynamite Headdy and Ristar I guess there's also Contra:The Hard Corps, but that's just me assuming games older than I are obscure.

I think it's that big because they didn't use any premade stuff + a bunch of cutscenes + some bad compressing I guess.

For an RPG Maker horror game I'd say so. 8-10 hours or so depending on how thoroughly you play.

Lost in the Static. A platformer you can download from some weird old website called silverspaceship. The game's visuals were designed to be entirely static, hence why pausing it just looks like static. Everything has the effect differently though, making it playable. Found it from an iceberg meme thread awhile back

Well, it depends.
It's a 30 minute long walking simulator. Basically a visual novel in RPG Maker format.
It's adorable, and a couple of sequels, but there's not much else going for it.

Probably some old RPG maker game from back a 15 years ago.
The ones that stick out in my memory is NYSE survivor and another I saw in gamingw where you try to escape monkey scientists.
