Pocket Camp is much better than I expected. Its pretty much the best they could have done without taking away from the main game line.

Its meant to be played 15 mins every few hours, and there is a decent amount of items to collect and decorating to do.

However that is where the depth stops, and it just makes you want to play Animal Crossing again. The villagers are mannequins, there are ~8 types of fish and bugs, no custom designs, no actual activites, no holidays Maybe big ones but they will also be shallow, no real time multiplayer and nothing to do.

That being said I really want a camper in the next animal crossing cause that shit is cozy.

Also you're out of your mind if anything substantial was lost since GC AC. The acre system made the world feel less open and the only thing you could argue is some entries have dumbed down dialogue.

The only bad additions were City Folk grass deterioration and being Mayor should be optional with elections.
