Mecha genre can cover a wide range of games from armored core, titanfall, to xcx and its dolls. What kind of game are you looking for?

more like Armored Core, but I like all kinds of mech games
Simple.
Gundam Breaker 4 with stage gameplay that's more than Omega Force-lite
Tiddyfall
Make a gundam battle assault with 2D graphics,60 fps and add every mechas people WANT(i.e put god gundam instead of 5 Zaku variants)
If I want to get into armored core do I start from the beginning? It seems like there is a story continuity, so do I need the playstation/ps2 games before I get to the HD games?
Battle Operation on the PS3 was fun af, I'd really like it if they released it as a proper game instead of a F2P and make some minor changes.
Being able to leave your mobile suit and battle on foot, steal other suits, or even do repairs on your own, was all fun and something new for the Gundam series that I liked. I hate to say it but the Versus serious has run its course for now. Take a break.
I'd like a game based on the 08th MS Team anime. If you haven't seen it, it focuses on the grunts fighting in the war. You know, the guys killed by the thousands in every episode in Wing. Also I want it to let you pick which side you want to fight for. Oh, and I want the mechs to be slow and and actually act like a heavy giant robot, not flying around like fucking Goku
That's what Battle Operations was user.
I only played that game when it came out, did it ever change in a major way?
stop making them fighting games
There was a PS4 version that is basically an entirely different game, didn't feel similar at all.
The PS3 version had constant updates when I did play it. They were always releasing new suits and stages, but nothing that would break gameplay.
Gundam Battle Operation 2 actually got announced in September.
but kids with ADHD wouldn’t like having to control a Zaku
So you still needed to buy energy tanks to play, even in the PS4 game?
game has to good first user
>titanfall
Didn't the Titanfall devs explicitly NOT want their game associated with the mecha genre?
wew, that forced announcer voice.
By actually releasing games fuck
I believe so
Slower gameplay, more realistic like the old games
Really should have made a port of Maxi Boost On instead.
I agree. I really like Front Mission for allowing you to customize your team and play tactically. And the mechanic were by no means super robots. Armored Core games are great, but giant robots should look and feel like they have weight to them. The action shouldn't be too spastic.
