boring and looks bad

Game looks like shit, but my favorite part is that they never would have used that word as a title if it wasn't reintroduced into everyone s lexicon because of those retarded Divergent movies.

That's interesting, I thought the graphics were okay, game play seemed a little one-note tho.

Dead as fuck to the point they are now doing alienware giveaways for promo items and shit (and the codes are not vanishing in an instant, as with all other anticipated games.)

Serves them right, really:

>We are Monster Hunter... without the grind!
>Except the way it works is that monsters have a chance to drop a loot box
>You THEN open this loot box for a CHANCE to get materials
>Buy premium account goy, increase your chances for better loot :^)

Artstyle is atrocious for me.
Not gonna pick up.

fuck off

Seriously? Fuck it.

Introducing Loot Boxes in these kind of games is so weird to me.
The Monsters are already pretty much Loot Boxes, why add this stupid shit in it?

That being said, did they not recently announce they will not do Loot Boxes?

>made gorillion closed alpha premium money only exclusive betas
>"we will have monopoly on REAL MH clone on PC :^)"
>suddenly MH World out fucking nowhere

Poor man's monster hunter

Looks amazing. MHW is fuckind DOA on arrival

Shameless MH clone all the way to the very basic UI. Looks aesthetically way worse. Not a fan of the artstyle.

why is this artstyle becoming so common lately? it sucks ass

If they did they are deliberately lying through their teeth and pretending the term "loot box" only applies to outfit shit.

Here, I picked the last uploaded dauntless video. You can see how they still get cores and immediately crack them up for materials.

Blame MOBA's becoming the definitive PC genre.

>why is this artstyle becoming so common lately?
because Overwatch and TF2 are popular

>we want the battleborn audience

I guess that's one way to do it. I just associate this ugly shit with early/budget 3D movies where they give characters weird shaped heads so that they don't look too human and thus easier to model.

Looks like shit. Some of the ugliest characters designs I've seen in a long time. Also, the animations make the combat look boring and weightless.

to be fair, Volition has been using that style since Saints Row 3 which was...2010?

But its a way for them to have modern graphics without having to spend a fuckton of manhours trying to get it realistic

It died when MHW was announced.
