L&L genuinley just needed more hp. People will whine and say thats artificial difficulty etc, but bottom line it takes you out of the experience when something as hyped and powerful looking as the twins goes down in like 2 seconds. Gael, Midir, and Twin Demons all have large hp pools that give their fight the weight that their intimidating designs call for.

Ariandel is good but really short compared to every other dark souls dlc. The bosses were good and there is a couple cool encounters and weapons. Ringed City has a lot of great fights, cool new weapons and a bunch of lore, but to me all the new story and lore was over complicated, trying to rewrite things, confirming things that never needed to be confirmed, and was overall trying way too hard to suck it's own dick, so a lot like the rest of DS3

Lothric was supposed to be the Chosen Undead of DS3's cycle but he said "fuck that shit I'm too crippled for this" and decided to watch the world fall apart from his tower. That made the First Flame revive the past Lords as a self-defense mechanism but they were also like "fuck no," so as a last ditch effort it revived people who failed to link the fire like the Chosen Undead. That's why the Soul of Cinder is pulling your corpse out of the grave in the opening cutscene.

Ariandel is decent but lacking in content. Ringed city is the best content in dark souls 3 by an absurd margin. Retroactivley improved my opinion of the game singlehandedly.
