Left or right?
Left or right?
Drop rate.
Gold becomes valueless.
Should be 2x for each so people don't get confused. Somebody not understanding what they mean will probably post in the time it takes for me to fill out this fucking fading box captcha.
Can't you sell your drops for gold?
>wear ring of luck
>find ring of wealth on enemy
Ring of luck its not even close
This. Right ring is useless 99% of the time compared to the left one
This.
Or if the OP decides to be a bitch and change the rules mid-way, you'll find so much more shit you can sell with the Ring of Luck the Ring of Wealth becomes obsolete.
Ring of Luck because it would also increase gold dropped by 100%.
Drop rate because shops never sell the best stuff, and if they do it is usually for some clown currency that isn't gold.
Use the legacy captcha
100% gold acquisition of 0 is still 0.
Ring of Luck is obviously the better option.
>Gold ring with a blue gem instead of red
>Silver ring with a red gem instead of blue
>you can wear only one
This is now useless overpowered shit thread
>he only has one finger
That depends on the drops. If, like in most RPGs, the only drops from common enemies are worthless materials and consumables that just clog up your inventory, I will pick right.
If common enemies can drop actually meaningful items and equips however, left. It's not even a challenge. Hell I will deck my character out in as much +item find equipment as much as possible because I live for those sweet drops.
gold acquisition stats in games usually don't matter since you make a fuckton of money from not buying anything and relying strictly on drops anyway.
>absolutely no context
These threads are garbage.
>not wearing 10 rings on every finger
Finally this thread again.
Now pick one.
>Pick wind
>kite the shit out of everything due to speed bonus
>run away/fly if needed
easy choice
>100% Drop Rate
>Get some shitty trash boots that I can sell for 1 or two gold
>+100% Gold Aquisition
>Recieves 2 gold instead of 1
Almost the same except there's a chance I can get a legendary or something with the drop rate.
This.
I HOPE YOU'VE BEEN SEARCHING EVERY SINGLE ATOM IN THE GAME TO FIND THEM ALL, ESPECIALLY SINCE AREAS BECOME INACCESSIBLE WITHOUT YOU KNOWING
Fuck Tiny Medals.
>wear one
>other falls off
Its almost like you havent played PRGs
Land style.
>+25 attack
>Has decent defense
>A fucking 30% STR increase
You would one shot every cunt, no need for speed or evade. Water is weak, fire is a poor man's land style, and wind is only good for annoying the enemy.
Drop rate for sure. It's easy enough to stock up on gold, in most games I end up not needing it after a while.
Always the one that gives you flight
Flame or Hurricane, depending on whatever the hell Speed does. Maximum offense is always the way to go. If Speed affects attack speed and lets me stack a shit ton of crits and on-hit effects to melt niggas, then Hurricane.
>wear luck ring
>adds new mechanics like spare slots
Airbender
...
Right because it looks cooler
left is better
Time to update the wizard one then.
bump for time
Right isn't worth the potential extra time it takes to kill something.
>having shit luck.
I'll be 3 shotting enemies and then healing my allies to full with my attack speed build.
Right would be pretty cool if you were fighting a lot of undead monsters or had a mind control ability where healing/damage is both useful.
Right because the sunflower is my waifu
>wear ring of wealth
>buy ring of luck with extra gold
Luck has nothing to do with it. The odds are set and the formula has no input from Luck whatsoever. It's pure RNG. The real concern is what happened to the last 1%?
left cause im not a faggot and 1 atk seems negligible unless some specific mob would otherwise require that 1 atk and thus not require another attack to deal that 1 damage
Right, if you ram it into an enemy as the deathblow and leave it there inside the corpse.
Sure it seems negligible, but can you be sure based on the cost of the other items lying around?
What's the point of these fucking questions? There's no right answer or even worthwhile discussion because it's impossible to make a choice without knowing the context of the game mechanics that are impacted.
Simple example, in EVE online, I'd easily take the second. In POE, I'd take the first.
Why? Because fuck you.
Does gold acquisition include money you get from sales and shit? I would still take left over right, rather spend 1 hour farming for something rare than 2 hours
If we're applying video game logic, drop rates for anything worthwhile are usually abysmal, so doubling them is pointless.
Doubling your income, on the other hand, is basically never a bad idea.
These threads aren't meant for autists
fuck you m&b
I'm not talking about game luck, I'm talking real life luck, I mean just check this 5.
...
I wear everything.
I throw the knife for initial damage and then dual-wield sword and bashy
>Get Ring of Luck
>Loot Ring of Wealth
Retards
Wasnt there some newgrounds game based on these kind of threads?
>Get Ring of Wealth
>Buy Ring of Luck
Retards
>Pick Hurricane
>Use Copy Ring on weapon
>Even more speed
gold is for plebs
Sword of Fury and Monk's Bandana
>Get Ring of Luck
>Sell the items you find
Retards
I kinda thought any thread on Sup Forums was made for autists. Like seriously, if I can't autism the thread why does it even exist?
ring of luck, and it's not even a choice
Obviously it depends if actually good items can be acquired through gold or if they're strictly drop-only. Gold isn't always very useful sometimes, not to mention that you also need to take into account how much gold drops directly and how much the items you get can be sold for. Depending on the game, the luck ring might actually get you more gold than the gold ring.
>most good stuff has a .1% drop
>left ring makes it .2%
>gold drops from everything
>get 100% more of it
>buy the drops you need from other players
Sword and ring
>realize you can only equip 1 ring even though you have 10 fingers
Drop rate is always better, grinding for gold is easy, grinding for drops is hell.
Are there any games with 10 ring slots?
>100% drop on extremely rare shit
vs
>twice the shekels
I'll take the red one
Dark Souls 4
Yea but then you have to find a buyer. What if the trader doesn't want your shit drops.
>can't wear multiple rings on each finger
Fine.
I can't actually kill people and make them drop rare loot, so i'll take the ring of wealth and become a wealth creator.
Legit, easy cash. Have fun trying to sell that diamond-encrusted AK47 on the open market whilst I literally make money multiply every time I put it down and pick it up.
>Bashy bashy
>Monk's bandana
>Can deliver 600 attck points in a single second
>has 270 defense
>can evade counter-attack
Plebs
You seem like your anal ring has been irritated.
That reminds me of an old as fuck gook SNES RPG game, you could choose a body/face, but all of them had stats ranging from 1-3, but you could choose the pig face that gave you 9s in all stats.
But instead of looking like a hero/mage, you looked like a fucking orc pig kek.
left, always left, the items you can get and sell are worth more than the gold, if you even need the gold after that.
>can only equip 1 amulet
>could probably fit 100 around your neck
>Evade value states 1 point=1% boost
>No items give evade points, only % boosts to an evade stat that isn't even available
???
You got me there, I'll fix that next time.
In any MMORPG the amount of money you get directly from mobs will quickly become absolutely worthless because of inflation, so if you consider the scenario in a multiplayer game then the wealth ring is going to be completely pointless.
>get ring of wealth
>buy whatever you want, including ring of luck or whatever drops the ring of luck can provide
literally no contest
ring of wealth is just straight up better
>no socks slot
...
Name 1 game where gold is more important than item drops.
Protip: You can't.
Not him, but Maplestory.
But in Maplestory you get all your money by selling items. Picking up money from mobs is chump change. Or at least back when I played it anyways.
I'm not sure how it actually is, but when playing Nioh it felt like most item drops were completely bullshit and the good items where only from boss-drops/quest rewards, while gold seemed like it could be used for some neat stuff at the blacksmith.
>can't equip 100 shirt slot items
another time bump
In order to get the items you need to sell, you have to buy good shit so you can start farming.
The only way you're getting endgame gear like CRA equips is by buying it in the FM. That's how it is if you're not playing in Reboot, at least.
I haven't played the game in a while, so I'm going off of memory too.
Water all day every day.
Didn't even look at the pros or cons.
You really like the water don't you?
>What's the point of these fucking questions? There's no right answer or even worthwhile discussion because it's impossible to make a choice without knowing the context of the game mechanics that are impacted.
9 out of 10 games have terrible economy design, so you're almost always better off with an item drop booster than a money drop booster. How many times have you reached the endgame with tons of useless gold because you can craft or find much better gear and consumables during regular play?
Drop Rate is obviously better, it's not even a debate.
>Doubling your income, on the other hand, is basically never a bad idea.
That's contingent on whether or not you can buy anything useful with that money.
Need a blue and silver option pls
Rarest items are never sold in shops. I go with the left
Guild Wars 2
almost done.
bump
drops
