Switch

Where is the cheapest place to buy a Nintendo Switch? Gamestop refurbished?

Steal it from a child

I don't know, but I plan to get one when they make the revision, that's when I'll get one for Metroid 1-5, other first-party games, and multiplats.

>revision
?

ebay. Just not always reliable.

It's selling well, it's a handheld, it will have some sort of revision by 2019 or 2020.

My money is smaller/cheaper/lighter weight 'lite' version to be more portable, and a silent revision of the current system both using a newer revision of the SOC made on a smaller process.
Probably coming in 2019.

total not announcing a new version at whatever the next con is when fromsoftware announces new souls games and nintendo releases new stronger gpu version to play those games at 60 fps

Dammit, you two are making it hard for me to choose, a more powerful Switch, or a lighter more portable Switch. What do I pick?!

desu it wont be lighter they will make the weight the same with bigger battery and i think im going to get one but i can feel that a revision is coming soon

Me too, I'm glad I waited to get an Xbox One until the X came out, waiting pays off, and I can't wait for the Switch's revision.

enjoy your TN screen ;)

I cant remember what the next conference is but i think its soon

What do you consider "soon?" I think expecting a revision before 2019 is a little unrealistic.

Nice

They probably won't make a more powerful switch for another 4+ years.

They could make it lighter since a smaller production process means less power consumption, and that means less heat.
So they could keep the same batter size, or go smaller and also make the heatsink smaller and lighter weight.

Why is this board seemingly a Nintendo billboard?

Nintendo is Video Games?

next conference is in January with from soft and ea announcing stuff. prolby new revision after holidays like with the "new 3ds" as to not hurt holiday sales.

also smaller doesn't mean less power it depends on much more

Definitely going to watch that.

If Nintendo really want to sell 20+ million units next year they need to bring the price down.
Making the system lighter weight brings with it all kinds of net effects that would allow them to lower the price aggressively.
Reducing power consumption and heat dissipation is one of the best ways for them to reduce weight.

Craiglist if you can find one that isn't beaten to shit

no this is what they'll do just like every other company and have a wide diversity of choices. just look at what nintendo did to the ds line last 5 years they have ds, 2ds, 3ds, 3dsxl ,new 3ds, and new 3dsxl yet all of these play almost all the same games. Nintendo will first release a better model then shortly after drop price of base switch then shortly after that drop a new shit model like portable only or something then a possible new line based on what ever tech they want to add. besides they are making tons of sales regardless.
