long texts and dialogue are just filler to disguise boring gameplay. take away all of the text and dialogue and pre-written story bullshit and then judge the game based on the action alone.

the deepest roleplay i ever exprienced consisted of a dialogue of me responding "no" to a short 3 word question asked of me and then proceeding to murder that player.
that one experience carried more weight than all of fallout's pre written dialogue combined.
