I thought the game was good when I played it but got kinda bored after 20-30 hours. Was I missing something huge or am I just stupid?
Why is the Witcher III considered the best game of all time by a lot of people?

Because people are fucking plebs, why else?
because Sup Forums hates good things and worships horrible things.
CDPR drones.
In terms of sidequest writing it's a power house as far as video games are concerned. Most gamers don't read, so W3 is their first interaction with halfway decent writing. They find themselves enthralled but they don't really know why.
The average Witcher 3 fag is young and doesn't have any experience with this medium.
It's like someone who has only eaten McDonald's in his life write a review about a Korean restaurant.
you're missing something
the more you dedicate to it the better it gets, especially once you finally break through the plateau and play without expecting too much or with the whining drone of Sup Forums weebs in your ears telling you it's not good
it's the best game of the decade user, give it the respect it deserves and after 50+hours you'll transcend
CDProjekt has one of the finest marketing depts around.
They actually CAN sell chicken salad made out of chicken shit.
i think you mean
>you have to play XX+ hours to enjoy the game!
This is why open world games SUCK.
Breath of the Wild surprised me when I started having fun after xx MINUTES instead of HOURS.
Casuals don't care if games have shit gameplay, they only care about the story
Story, atmosphere and good combat if you don't make one of the mash attack to win builds.
That style of game just appeals of a lot of people. They're not in game for gameplay, they just want stories.
Best combat? Definitely No.
Best graphics? It's up there.
Best unique quest storylines? Yes.
Best quest gameplay? Definitely no.
Best full length expansions to a modern videogame? Definitely yes.
Best adaptation of a book to a videogame, where the videogame takes all the awful things about the book and removes them? Definitely yes.
>TW3
>builds
Specializations then, but you do sound either like a contrarian, shitposter or someone who spent 5 hours on the game by your implications.
Adapting a book about a guy who hunts monsters into a video game is not quite a Herculean task user.
I use the set everyone on fire build
The combat was painfully mediocre. I'm a bit combatfag and it was the weakest part of the game by far.
Same senpai
You obviously haven't played the first two if you think the gameplay in witcher 3 is bad
you're just stupid
you're just stupid
it has shitty combat , this is the only thing i dislike about it and it makes the game unplayable for me
I beat both on release actually. At least 1 tried to do something unique. And 2 isn't that different from 3 really.
>1
>right click:the game
Because it's the best AAA of the 2010s and a lot of people are young.
Because the competition is worse?
3 is basically just arkham combat which is really bad.
How could you live with that boredom?
That's the point. I played it recently but was bored after 20+ hours as well. That repetitive gameplay and bland story didn't attract me.
And Sup Forums is filled to the brim with gay nostalgiafags who regurgitate the same content on a daily basis.
Its just the way things are and will be.
>a lot of people
Who? Oh, you mean a bunch of irrelevant drones that constitute barely a third of Skyrim's active palyerbase? LMAO, that's like asking why do some mentally ill "people" like to eat shit. They just do, because they're mentally ill. Good thing these kind of people are an irrelevant minority, just like Witcherscum, compared to the playerbases of RPGs that actually matter.
Bethesda doesn't even use cutscenes in their games.
Are they even trying?
CDProjekt and Bioware at least care enough to put the effort into making a cinematic experience for me to enjoy.
Why is Bethesda so lazy?
it's practically a collection of short stories with just enough barebones gameplay to call it game.
Bethesda is an awful company for many many reasons.
