i think, controversially, that warhammer fantasy is great for total war because of the scale of the conflict and how different each side is. If only creative assembly was a bit less jewy with it, it would be a lot better

Literally a Bethesda game, where its broken as shit and relies upon the modding scene to make it playable. Modders have applied the foundation update to the game faster than CA did ffs.

If you are playing as one of the new factions its fine. Things start getting weird when you play old world or look at the old world balancing IE Hyper Dorf blob late game.

It really depends on who you want to play as. If you wanna play as Vamps, Wood Elves, Dorfs or any of the new factions, then you're good to go, but it's really shitty for the Empire at the moment because without the Norsca update, most Norscans you fight are nothing but chariot spams. Of course, let's be honest. Everyone simply wants to Tomb Kangz to be released right now because Egyptian skellingtons are fucking rad.

Oh stop, the dorf blob is easily mitigated with a 50% dorf upkeep mod or a the better CAI mod.

For sure we will get Daemons, Ogres and Chorfs. Chaos Divided would need to be a huge update to WoC dlc from which they won't earn any shekels. I'm not sure if we will ever get it outside mods.

That's because we already experienced superior TW:W version and now have to play it's inferior version. You fight with Norsca and WoC all the fucking time, and Norsca has shitty, no fun and annoying roster without this DLC.

I also saved Norsca playthrough for when I will be able to sail to New World and I will have to wait for total amount of 8 months for this.

That's not the case. Problem is that you can't copy paste all ships into all factions like it was with Empire. All 4 races would need vastly different ships and they would have to made different rosters of ships for ALL 9 TW:W 1 races and then for all races from TW:W2 dlcs and TW:W3 as well. And add sea monsters and balance flying monsters, magic and LL for it too.
It would be twice or triple the job they had to make and nobody plays Naval Combat anyway.

I would want to try them too, but sad truth is that nobody plays them. Never naval is posted on Sup Forums and /vg/ threads or any other site. I tried them few times but never liked them, in Warhammer they could be a bit more interesting, though.
