I always liked the Shenmue stores
But there's a mod that does this exact thing. Nothing super extravagant, but it exists.
Yep
the payday 2 stores tend to be fairly comfy

Sneed's Feed & Seed (Formerly Chuck's)

>Dark Megaman
What? You could turn dark doing that?
I think you also turned dark from killing too many vending machines, because it was "abuse"
you had to do it a lot though
they can be top spooky too
Holy shit, and I thought the only time I saw Megaman turn black was when you refused to give back the stolen bank's money.
HOO-HAH!

well you do for a day in paradise lost
For such a simple game, postal 2 had such great world and level desing.
Overabundance of collectibles and secrets, that reward exploration.
“...Seeing as how you seem trust worthy or something. I got this special where you buy some really expensive burrito-tots or grapple juice and you get a free weapon of your choice...”

Why aren't there still fun Counter Strike maps like this anymore?
I like this thread
This thread likes you
because you're surrounded with snacks in a dimly lit room, air conditioning and someone who feigns interest in you when you're checking out.

I guess I'll have the concrete bag sized potato chips.
>Why aren't there still fun Counter Strike maps like this anymore?
Modding is less popular with kids it seems. Probably because less games support it these days.
>do you want a new grillmaster?
>no
>do you want this two pack of TVs?
>no
>do you want this pack of 128-ounce barbecue potato chips?
>no...i want 2

unplayable mess of a game

I really like malls in games, the one in Postal 2 especially for some reason.
I guess malls in game are fun because the always require a greater level of detail and unique assets and a greater degree of freedom.
What the fuck I was just about to post it but couldn't find a decent screenshot
This thread got me comfy.
Does anyone know the name of the christmas-y song that sometimes plays in the convenience stores in Yakuza Kiwami (and I think 0 as well)?
Malls are hands down some of the best levels in games, unless they're done half assed.
Dead Rising 1 was so good because it was a fleshed out beautiful mall, and it tied in so well with the gameplay letting you experiment with all the items the stores had to offer.
Gas Stations are also fantastic, this thread is full of good taste. Anytime I have a game where I can build structures/custom hangouts I try to recreate a gas station because I love the vibe.

we are two of one soul.
Part of the fun is exploring a familiar setting from real life but having the ability to just explore and fuck about with zero inhibition no?
they're great because you've been in malls before, so you appreciate it when the designers/artists nail it. We haven't been in a space marine starship or in marioland or anything so we're more willing to accept nonsense/wrong shit. A mall is familiar so right away our intuition is being utilized in a more tangible manner
For me it's all about the music.

I NEVER FELT LIKE
Less likely to get stabbed or robbed so probably.
>tfw no horror game where you play as a clerk at a gas station at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere
I fucking hated exalt missions there specially with long war, shit got fuckin masochistic, aside from that xcom's levels were pretty comfy
This game had the comfiest maps.
