Glass Cannons

It's "glass cannon dies in one hit before you have a revive spell" episode

Is Ivan even a glass "cannon"? I remember him and Sheba both being fucking useless, Sheba more so than Ivan.

if I remember, wind adepts were great during random encounters for their AOE attacks, afterwards I think they buff/debuff while the other adepts do work

It's what they're supposed to be. In practice Ivan's just been glass in all boss fights past Saturos. Might be because I'm playing the Reloaded hack though. Easily the worst of the four so far in my play through. (Currently revisiting Vale/Vault before the ship)

Do you give all your stat items to Isaac? It's what I'm doing as it seems better to stack up the bonuses than spread them.

Everyone has aoe attacks though.

Wind gets them earlier, his higher PP on average, and higher damage with them.
Physical is better for single target damage (like bosses).
But I could be wrong, I haven't touched the series since before Dark Dawn

Don't put fragile characters in the middle of the party. It guarantees that they will eat all of the AoE attacks

Just for you.

To add insult to injury debuffing bosses is a waste of PP.
New game with physical Jupiter adept when?

Dark Dawn did, Sveta was really fast and strong and had a unique ability to transform into a werewolf.

It's such a hot mess from what I've heard I've refused to buy it

>it's a glass cannon with no range episode
Fucking battle cats

It has a few problems. The story is awful, the difficulty is so simple (due to the fact that PP regenerates so fast I never felt like I ran out), some of the cast is bad but its not the worst thing, point of no returns (with miss-able Djinni!). But I enjoyed the music, the art wasn't the worst, I would give it an honest 7/10 where as GS1 is a 9 and GS:TLA I would give a 10.
If you're bored, it wouldn't hurt to pirate

I doubt my phone would do a good job emulating it hut after I finish one and two I'll look into it.

Hi dear GS fan,

when I play GS, I always allocate earth djinns to earth mystics, fire djinns to fire mystics...
Because I think this maximize the stats.

But what is the best, according to you ? When you want to battle with Dullahan (for the fun) without spamming the eclipse + dedale, what do you do ?

>not using iris against dullahan to see the stupid look on his face when you beat him with his own treasure

triple element classes are the best, particularly samurai, ninja, and white mage. They get great stat distributions, psynergies, etc. However, the best and easiest strategy is just summon rushing everything. Summons pretty much trivialize every boss

you can always buy a flashcard

For fun, I just stay alive, and bring a Samurai sometimes for laughs. Dullahan isn't hard because of Formina Sage/Fulminous Edge, it's hard because of Djinn Storm, which is why it's most efficient to rip him apart with summons.

Rather buy your dick in my mouth!

Of course. When I run against Dullahan just for fun, it takes me 45 min to beat him down.
Formina Sage is quite impressive but when you are level 65 with full stats and djinns you can handle a blow.

Only djinn storm is a mess. And Charon. D:

Oh yeah, kind of forgot he could summon Charon. Still as long as you don't get hit with Djinn storm too much it's workable.

CLASS SETUP TIME
What do I move around guys?

Keep everyone in their default class. I like having them with their respective djinns.

literally the most boring and weakest way to play

Damn, I used to love this game used to spam the rng trick on gs1 to max all my characters and cash.

Then by the time gs2 came out I was massively op and I didn't really enjoy it as much.

I wish I could play it again but I can't cope with not having physical buttons to use.

I don't care.

I do too but the idea is to actually do something different.

>check djinn guide before hopping on boat and see you're missing spritz so you have to backtrack
Nigger pets

That's how it works? holy shit I never knew.

>continuation of the sequel fucking never

The idea is that aoe won't hit them too much (with 3s) but bosses have aoe with more than those so moot point when considering Ivan is still a wet tissue paper and nothing fixes that .

>it's an "OP didn't turn off interpolation and set the screen size to an integer scale"

>...episode

I have no idea what any of that means. Ching Ching ching chong.
