Why are tanks so arrogant?

Why are tanks so arrogant?
Why are healers always complaining?
Why are DPS so retarded?

Why are MMOs so shit?

>Why are healers always complaining?
Because 1 and 3

Why did you make this thread?

Because you have an unnatural burden of having to know every mechanic better than the entire team.
Because you are there to fix other people's fuck ups.
Because you have no accountability when there are 10 other DPS in the raid.

tanks are extremely easy to play and require no skill whatsoever, so the people stupid enough to enjoy playing tanks feel like it couldn't possibly be their fault

dps is the edgy "look at me i'm going to carry" class

healers are complaining because DPS and tanks are fucking retarded

>trinity
>only three

Because all three of us suck at the game.

People are too retarded to understand the impact of the EverQuest bard archetype.

>tankfags and healcucks think their roles are complicated and demanding

More demanding than damage dealers mashing 123 and maybe an offensive CD. You have to be mindful of positioning, add pickup and placement and a set of skills teh damage dealers don't have to worry about, on top of dealing with everything the damage dealers do.

multiclasses change the number of group composition possibilities, but the triangle dynamic is still the same, the bard just fills the role of what's missing

Do you even know what bards did in EverQuest.

I like tank/melee damage roles, because that's what a warrior should be, a master of combat. That isn't to say that the "bruiser" or whatever you would like to class it should be better at tanking than a tank, or better at damaging than a dps, but occupy the unique role of frontline combat. He shouldn't be just a worse version of a tank or dps. Where the assassin would burst, hit and run, the warrior should deliver a sustained fight and win through endurance and strength. I would say that the tank should be oriented around team play and the warrior a sort of duelist or front line fighter. If the tank is the wall and the assassin the ballistae, the warrior should be the rear guard.

>tankqueers target something and either spam threat generating ability or threat generating ability (aoe)
>tankhomos unironically think what they do demands skill and commands respect
>meanwhile dpschads have to study game mechanics and practice for months to be able to min/max at the highest levels
>dpsbulls are required to have a MENSA IQ and be able to solve complex calculus problems on the fly in dynamic situations in order to compete at the top tier
>tankgays are LITERALLY oblivious to all of this

>healer not DPSing
>everyone yells at healer to DPS
>healer DPSes too much, tank dies, party wipes
>everyone yells at the healer to stop DPSing
>healer starts crying
Healers are such babbies

It isn't being arrogant if you are actually one getting shit done, bruh.

>tankchad outdamaging your lowest rDPS while still positioning the boss perfectly for optimal uptime, negating damaging mechanics for the dpsvirgins to not have to worry about, and handling each tank swap flawlessly
*blocks your path*

The arrogance compensate for the complaining which in turn compensate for the the retardation. That's why it's the holy trinity.

I only get annoyed when you tanks and dps fags decide to rush in before I’m done buffing and healing you and then blame me when you get your dumb asses killed

>tankshitter outdps'd 1 person in his lfr group AND managed to press taunt at the correct time and is bragging about it on an anonymous anime imageboard

if your tank or healer fucks up, you notice
if a DPS fucks up, nobody notices but the other DPSers

>New WoW raid came out recently
>Its another "DPS gets tier sets and loot first" episode
>Then Tanks
>Healers last
>Get to some of the final fights on Heroic
>Coven and Aggramar
>Both intensive aoe healing fights
>Wipe a handful or times
>We could really use some bigger healing numbers, guys

EVERY
FUCKING
TIME

>healer forgets to tab back in from netflix quick enough
>can't click his 2-3 buttons before panicking because now they have to actually play the game
>everyone elses fault!
Trinity should be called Healers, DPS, Babysitters

Serious question: Why don't MMOs just use proper combat where you can attack and dodge at will? Basically where sheer skill prevails against MMO mechanics?

see: Dungeon Fighter Online

This is why more MMOs need DPS-only fight mechanics. Tanks should solely be focused on taking up aggro, eating prey attacks, and all sorts of positioning. Healers should be next in line for mechanics, but not too many, make it more challenging for them by mixing up raid-wide damage. Having them just be tank life support 24/7 is boring. And DPS needs more to do than cycle through a cheatsheet combo list. Like 3/4 of the fight's mechanics should be dealt with by them, so it is noticeable if they're fucking up or not.

Games like that already exist

because that would be a MMOARPG (they exist) and not a MMORPG

>be tank heal hybrid
>everyone just pretends im not there in clutch moments and otherwise just uses me
whatever

>tank heal
why bother

bully me again bitch

because when an mmo did that (gw2) it got shit on
so enjoy

What are you going to do about it? Take the pain and heal yourself so you can keep getting shit on?

whatever... bitch

Healers complain because their job is double the work of the other two. They are both fighting the mechanics of the boss and the incompetence of the group. Though nowadays most mechanics are one shots and raid wide damage. Healers have their own phases as will

>I'm a healslut

That's all I read

Healsluts are whiny little bitches who should be seen, not heard.
DPS are edgy teens or NEET sperglords who compensate for their insecurities by playing "BIG NUMBERS" role.
Tanks have to literally carry the other two faggot roles.

fpbp

Tanks have always been the sit there role. A role for the laziest and shittiest players.

>t. dpscuck

This.
My group does endgame content faster than anyone on the server, our DPS can play any role well, healers can too but their DPS are often mediocre but they can damage while doing mechanics.

However our tanks can not play healers or DPS. It really feels like a role made for retards.
As raid leader I have to constantly tell them not to spam their threat abilities and go out of tank stance once in a while to actually try and contribute some damage also.

Your tanks are ex-DPS niggers who picked the role for faster dungeon queues.

>As raid leader
>not a tank
Everyone has you on mute. Go back to hiding behind the tank or standing outside the battle

I can play every role, like a normal human being and being a tank is the easiest out of the 3 by far.
