Made it to 10 in a few matches playing as her, don't really like her kick, but party crash is a good excuse to try out new characters.

I really like the thing where she has her left arm cnostantly buffed (even tho I still buff before every attack) But she has been my main since I started.

ARMS is the only Switch game I regret buying
I fell for the "just need something to play until Splatoon 2" trap

I got spla2n before arms, splatoon got boring quicker than arms

Splatoon 2 has far more depth in it's gameplay, and all of Splatoon 2's modes are actually fully fleshed-out modes that can all stand on equal ground with each other.
On the other hand, ARMS has one main mode, and a bunch of meme modes like volleyball and basketball that get played once then never touched again.

That is true. I got splatoon2 right when it came out but I never really battled in any splatfests, that's how quickly I grew bored of it. I've polayed it for about 50 hours, but nowaydays if I happen to play it it's just one or few rounds and then I'll quit. Maybe it's just not my game, tho I wqas interested in the beginning

Have you played the ranked modes in Splatoon 2 at all? I find those a lot more fun than turf war which is what you play during splatfests

It was 50 but the recent update increased it to 99.

And new weapons keep getting added. I'm dropping out of the game because I "can't" keep up. I don't even care about the sp either. Maybe it'd be more fun with a friend?

What do you mean? You don't need to try out every new weapon, if you have something that clicks for you just keep using it

Is the gameplay the issue and would it be improved by being able to shorten your punches

The closer you are the quicker your punches are and the game can feel quick paced like a real fight and you can still use super long punches?

I guess I just wanna try new weapons I can't yet because of my low level. I'm gonna give the game a try soon, maybe I'll get back to it a little

yeah your punches will be shorter when you get up closer and they'll retract faster. I didn't play with motion controls though, not sure if you planned to or not.
I think I just got bored of it kind of quickly because my friends didn't really like it, they'd rather play Smash 4, so I kind of just played online and it got sort of repetitive
Ah okay I see. I think most everything is unlocked at 30, but if you play a lot of salmon run you can get tickets that will boost your EXP gain

Why? That gets me killed in ranked. Tell the grab spammers to stop, they don't seem to realise what they're fdoing wron gwhen I beat them perfectly

Don't open yourself up, punch one at a time. Or just dodge and grab them back. I had no clue people still had trouble with grab spammers.

both games have bad single player, if that's what you're looking for you should get Odyssey, Xenoblade 2 or Disgaea 5 instead.

The level goes up to 30 if I recall correctly, just switched to another gaem for a while. It's up untill monday 11am I think

I'm not a fan of either but if I had to pick I'd choose Ninjara.

It keeps going up after that, there's just no badge prizes after 30. I hit 45 in the Ribbon Girl one.

You can keep playing past 30 but the rewards stop there. The best badges are lvls 5 and 10 though for the character you used the most.

Ninjara is gonna win.

The mecha and her voive is so annoying but she's cute otherwise

I have played as both the same amount of times, yet, when I reached 30 with Ninjara the badges got locked as his, Min Min just won’t show anymore. I even played as her 3 times in a row and yet she still doesn’t appear.

I bumped into a lot of the same dudes during the first event. Then when it was over I went into ranked and waited 2-3 minutes to get a match.

Also Springtron is laughably fucking busted.

I don't play him but you shouldn't teleport predictably, a.k.a teleporting in the same direction you jump in all the time and sometimes just do empty jumps.

You get the character-specific badges at levels 5 and 10

No jesus christ Lvl 5 and 10 unlocks badges, I'm not sure what comes after those since they are showed as question marks. You can check what level ulocks what by pressin X on menu

Kid Cobra has been my husband since the day we thought he was a toilet man with toilet paper ARMS.
Kid Cobra might complete against Helix since both are unusual ARMS users. (A shame because Helix Badge is the second one I want the most)
