This, I have been playing a deck with secrets, the spellstone, and high costs beasts with the new legendary. The only way your opponent wins is by killing you on turn 5 (no minions-hunter has the same problem)

You get to legend if your deck has >51% winrate, it's not exactly hard.

But did they GET to legendary with it? Lots of people hit legend with a tryhard deck and then fuck around with meme decks afterward because their losses don't matter at that point.

Being legend doesn't mean shit. You can be a horrible player and still be at legend.

With minions.

To my side is an ok class card when you have no minions, pointless when you have minions. and Rhok'delar is ok when you have no minions, worthless when you have minions.

The reason the deck is strong is because of wandering monster, flanking strike, and the 12/12 worth of minions for 5 mana spellstone. I honestly think you can make a better deck taking out to my side and Rhok'delar for some core minions like houndmaster/tundra rhino.

If to my side/Rhok'delar were the problem, people would be teching weasel tunneler against it.

That's not the point, though. The loudest voices in the community said that deck style was impractical and shouldn't be bothered with. Some guy at work was telling me that "when the expansion comes out I'm just gonna dust all my hunter cards on the spot and give up on the class" and I honestly don't understand why these retards don't remember saying the same dumb shit nearly every single release. They're always wrong but somehow get more and more confident in their analytical skills.

The entire video he just had this look on his face like he was dead inside and spent the entire time bitching about the game. this means very little considering the expansion came out 3 days ago and there is a fuckton of people experimenting. If the deck is still good after 2 weeks when the meta settles we'll talk

all that being said, I wouldn't mind if the deck was good. I opened 2x To My Side! and the Hunter Weapon in my packs.

Everybody who tries to predict how good cards are in a digital card game have turned out to be wrong retards. This even happens with Shadowverse. So even after these people spend hundreds and maybe thousands of hours on it, they still can't predict shit. Which shows you gain now actual skills from playing card games.

I tried making a control hunter deck with no minions when I played the game a long time ago, but it sucked because my only win condition was using hero power 15 times and hoping they couldn't heal. what makes it good now?

I never thought that it wouldn't be playable. I always thought that it was just a shitty way to go with hunters. I feel like blizzard is just terrified of agro decks and is just trying to replace them with gimmicky control decks. To My Side is still a bad card, like it's not even that useful in the deck and is only really in it because you need to fill up spots due to the lack of minions and it's better than shit like hunters mark. Spellstone and Flanking shot are the real mvps of the deck.
