>"Jin! What did Rex ever do to you?! Jin!"
>Character onscreen is obviously furious
>English voice sounds slightly irritated at best
Sounds more like "Jin. What did Rex ever do to you. Jin." with no emotion whatsoever.

Iechyd da, boyo. That's just how it is in the valleys of are Cymru.
Someone post youtube links of good scenes rather than fucking silent webms like a retard.
>playing dubbed
Tried Japanese at first. The mid-fight banter isn't subbed and I was curious.
Sword boobs sounds like an emo college chick.
DONT FORGET ME
Most english voice actors aren't given much context for their scenes, and they don't record their lines together with the other voice actors, they're usually just alone in a booth. This is why most english dubs sound really phoned-in, and why the characters often sound disconnected from one another.
...
Is this the new SLOPPY
>Most english voice actors aren't given much context for their scenes
Famously true for games like Sonic Adventure and that one FE 3DS game.
Why is this? Didn't NoA outright not allow the VAs to look into Fire Emblem that time? I know I've read it somewhere.
I think Nintendo in particular is ridiculously paranoid about leaks, so that could be why they don't let the VAs look at the game's overall script.
>so that could be why they don't let the VAs look at the game's overall script.
But why not let them watch the Japanese cutscene beforehand? Anything?
It's not ENTIRELY that english dubs are bad (most are,) it's that they're given no goddamn context to go off of.
What about the Va perfomance in this scene?
Yeah, it doesn't make any sense to me either.
The more and more I see scenes with Nia, her voice does NOT match her expressions.
I'm going back to Japanese.
I haven't heard a single line of banter from sword in the original
That scene physically hurts. poor nia
Nia and Rex talked a little exploring the ship.
>tfw muted non-event voices
Ha... ha... ha...
What?
I think only a select handful of characters like malos, tora and zeke didn't have this problem
there must've been very little to go off of like said which led to varying degrees of quality
I was playing with voices off during that part because Rex's field lines pissed me off, so I missed those conversations forever. Rip
>so I missed those conversations forever
>"Nia, look! I found treasure!"
>"I'll look at it later, jeez, you're acting like such a child!"
Nothing major.
