WWE 2k18 in the Switch vs. PS4

youtu.be/2qPbxILKRuk

Really get my neurons firing. How 2k think this is acceptable? It's not THAT underpowered. Zelda and Mario looks great. What the hell happened here? Is this a self sabotage Wii u style just to proclaim the game failed and they aren't supporting it anymore?

the framerate bothers me more desu
it looks like an unfinished game

The PS4 runs at 30fps which is not great. Only God knows how they let a game in this state to be published. It's running in 18-22 fps ffs.

WWE 2k is built upon spaghetti code from the Smackdown games on the PS2, yearly release with no chance for engine overhaul, the games run so much worse than they ever should and have tons of legacy bugs. PS4/Xbone/PC versions have tons of issues still and get worse every patch. I still enjoy them though

>It's not THAT underpowered.
Zelda is a cellshaded game that runs at 800p/30fps with very frequent fps drops.

Mario Odyssey is a cartoony game that runs at 800p/60fps with heavy optimisation and looks graphically about the same an upscaled Wii game from 2007

Doom has a resolution of 600p with lower than the lowest PC settings, and the whole game runs at ~25fps if played on the hardest difficulty

Xenoblade 2 runs at 368p/30fps in handheld mode with frequent fps drops.

The Nvidia shield was never designed to play full fledged games.

Literally playing the game for all of the wrong reasons. Mixed match no disqualifications when?

You seem to know what you're talking about. Would it be possible for the Witcher 3 come to switch? My friends and I were discussing this other day.

I remember WWE on the 360 running buttery smooth. Maybe is my nostalgia goggles but I can attest for what you said. The game have been worse and worse.

wwe games just suck, they've always been buggy and stupid. But I am concerned about the third party, considering these games require special porting and most devs don't want to deal with that.

It IS that underpowered.

I hope you're ready for the New Switch in 2019, which you'll have to pay $400 to have.

Tomb raider 2013 was ported to the shield. The game looks fine with no slowdown although it was in 720. I think the Nvidia lightspeed team should work on the switch and get some good ports

The machine looks beautiful, but it's just too underpowered.

They are absolutely not launching a new switch as early as 2019. I'm 100% sure. What will come is the switch mini, with no removable joy cons and a 5"screen. It'll be portable only and the actual successor for the 3ds

Why would they release a Switch without any of the functions that give it its name?

Pic related: you

Not an argument.

That would be retarded, I think what they really need is a switch pro, something that is more powerful and can run higher graphic games, since that seems to be the thing that's holding it back.

are WWE games as fun as ps2 era? a bit tempted to buy the new one, how is career mode?

Because people crave a 3ds successor. Switch is big and clunky. A slightly smaller switch built in a similar way to the Vita is what will sell by the bucketloads. It'll do everything the switch do, except changing joycons. It'll be able to connect to the, but with a special dock. Also it will cost $199

If Nintendo wanted to make a 3DS successor then why wouldn't they just make a 3DS successor instead of releasing a version of a console that completely defeats the purpose of said console? Doesn't seem like a very smart move.

I love them. Career is ok. The problem is on the online. It's a full cancer shitfest of micro transactions. But it's a fun game overall if you avoid the online.

>mfw its PS1 vs N64 all over again

You know that fighting games are just two characters and a arena of the size of an 100mil apartment in manhatham so it gives the hardware enough room to shine, right?

Depends on the year. Ever since 2K16, the series has taken a massive turn for the worst.

>Ever since 2K16, the series has taken a massive turn for the worst.
>2K16 is also when the series finally came to PC

That really made me think...

You should use an in-game screenshot for Killzone and not a bullshot

Switch is very underpowered and there's a lot NPCs in the background of the game.

>zelda and mario look great

yeah because they're stylized nintendo games that run at below 1080p and have framedrops.
