44 Pages on a Word Doc. Bulletpoints didn't transfer over too well so say hi to just a bunch of paragraphs. I at least recommend actually using Chronicle Mode to hear through some of these since the OST is really nice.

Man, I'm that mental brake down I had when I found out I had lost all my muscle memory to do mid combo dashing did way more damage than I though.

Remembering phrases through what I've heard over constant exposure sort of does that I guess. Around half my extended family is fluent in it too. Never bothered to learn how to read it though.

I did feint the grab at the end yes, I can stop it early. I was trying to win without jumping which is why I stopped my combo early.

Hippie how does Hilda beat Merkava? I have no DP so I can't wake up with any meaty disrespect. He outranges me. He out damages me. He out safes me. I fail to see how it's not a 9 to 1 for Merk

Keep him away and maximize every hit you have against him. For you, it's mostly about having more damaging BnBs, more long-range pressure and reacting to his flying or grab-arm spam, and most importantly setting up proper oki.

The easiest way to not let merk use his abundance of advantages is to just not let him play. Unless you got the range to match, or the speed of normals like Seth does, properly fighting Merk mostly just requires you to know what's safe and unsafe and making the right decisions. Kind of like how I'm still able to win a few rounds against him with Enkidu I guess.

I don't think he's the worst but I recognize certain weaknesses when I see them. Tiers don't matter here either way.
I mostly think I just learned him really fast through walkup. Enkidu is visually easy to learn with.

he lacks ranged option's because his up close pressure/mixups is some of the strongest in the game. I agree that enkidu is easy to learn tho, I would probably put him as a top 3 easiest to learn along with akatsuki and hyde.

I want you to do research, and not ask people who don't play your main, how to play your main.

Hilda can 3.7 meterless at most optimal. I just need to throw away my mission mode lessons and learn some actual damage. Mission mode for Hilda is trash for damage

I'm primarily a visual learner. I mostly recreate what I see in arcade matches. Hilda isn't played all that often these days though.

Dude don't just do all that then back off, destroy me.

Any character that gets a good confirm, either from a raw special or 5C/2C can usually manage that. Doubly so in the corner.

Something tells me he might be a good pick for you though. He's relatively easy compared to Carmine's level of lockdown.

Highest damage meterless combo I regularly see without vorpal, is like 3.4-3.5 with byakuya and I think yuzu. no way hilda hit's harder than byakuya.

I can show you high 3k damage in the corner if I confirm off of Hyde's 22A.
Hilda does have little room for combo creativity since she needs to space everything out just right. I think the damage cap/potential for her has to be a bit like that since she really zone someone out if the player is good at it.

I'm sure you already know X, but you're going to need to delay all three of Hyde's air rekkas if you ever want good damage out of him. That or optimize the shit out of every other special.

You're better off using both of his fireball follow-ups in a single combo if you want damage for simplicity. A follow-up for juggling, B for knockdown and combo-ending

I was practicing a combo that I sorta knew but I wanted to get good at doing it and doing it consistently. I did it for a few days and now I just can't play at all. I'll even write it out for you.

Actually just to add on to the failure that is me. I had to figure out a new way of doing 66c move because after a while I was having trouble doing it. I found out that if you hold the C after the hit and do the dash move it has a higher chance of coming out. Though It work better if you're doing for example ( 236a j9.dLC[C]66b 236b)

Oh boy I'm playing Merk again. I wonder what will happen.

The hard part is the first half the rest is basic. I even know when to hit the character right before the combo drops because there is an animation change mid air.
