Visually this game is incredible especially for its time but the gameplay loop gets dull pretty fast.
Also the story is dumb and makes a really abrupt jump in pacing that takes you from running around the city to taking on the final boss

I want it to be good

I want to play it, but it's the only PS4 game I want to play and cannot justify a $400 purchase for it alone

Anyway, I haven't seen a single soul talk about Recore or that Sci-Fi Dark Souls ripoff. If I remember correctly, both of them were pretty shit so it isn't a surprise.

Buy used ps4 for a lower price, play whatever you want and sell everything (unlike you PCfags which Gaben won't let you to do so)?

Bloodborne literally stands on its own, why would you think you need to play Dark Souls to enjoy a game with totally different combat mechanics

Gravity Rush is the only one I'd say you -should- care about, because it's a really good, unique IP that deserves a bit of attention imo.

I liked Gravity Rush as well but everyone neglects the fact that it's already a super niche game at this point and that a lot of people likely won't like it.
Hell, I didn't like it at all after playing the demo of GR2 but I ended up buying it later for some reason.

Last of us is also guilty of this, the only thing it really had going for it was its multiplayer. The rest is tearjerker muh child shit with a little bit of stealth and survival scarcity tacked on.

Yeah uncharted is dude raider as fuck, then again if you're starving for games I guess it would seem amazing. But even that doesn't make sense because fucking demonsouls came out, a MUCH better game.

Did you mean content? Because the mechanics are far and away the strongest part of gravity rush each time. Fucking around with the gravity mechanic doing 0 content made up most of my time with 1 and 2.
