Pirate game

>Pirate game
>Game guilt trips you for pirating it

Can we have a Lasagna cat thread?
>When will they return?
>What did the ending mean?

The ending is actually pretty basic. Jon had his life consumed by Garfield to the point that he was left a hollow husk detached from the rest of humanity, seeking connection only through asking people their number of sexual partners in the strange parody of intimacy. Eventually Garfield consumes him, and yet he is born again, for such bland inoffensive humor can never truly die. Garfield and Jon are eternal, cosmic predator and prey in which one must always feed upon the other to give both meaning to a meaningless existence.

>pirate game
Wait, I'm not poor

No you're just retarded with your money.

Pipe Strip>Sex Survey>knock that dogs lights out

>implying I'm capable of guilt

Jon Arbuckle
>4

>Pirate game
>Game spawns an unkillable scorpion to fuck up your shit

If I were to ever make a game, my anti-piracy measures would have to either be something that actively fucks with the player, making the game nearly unplayable unless you were really good I.E inverted controls, or a confusing layout that's NOT changeable unless you modded it, or, have it be a playful wink and give you a pirate hat or something.

I'd have random screamers as my anti-piracy measure

Was this Serious sam or Counter Strike?

I always made if so that the screamers are caused by a certain button you press, but it changes every few minutes

I'd make it so it locks you to easy mode, permanently.

What game do even have anti-piracy measures that affect gameplay?

Batman Arkham Asylum

i thought they might have returned as a gag from the international trailer (sep. 2nd) but, eh, that was wishful thinking
as it is, they'll come back when their production company needs more advertising, so probably 5-20~ years from now

also, it's just a commentary on the regurgitated nature of garfield's comedy

Ahh yes, the famous scorpions of counter strike

I think Serious Sam had one where an unkillable giant scorpion monster followed you around through the entire game.

Game dev simulator would kill your run by having an event where people pirated all your games.

Lasagna Cat is the magnum opus of the internet.

The best part is people complaining about these bug on the forums.

>Pirate game
>Devs patch the pirated version just so everyone gets to experience the full game

And people went complaining in the forums why were their games being pirated and how it fucked them up. Ironic

>Pirate game
>it runs smoother than the legal version

Earthbound has way more enemies and deletes your save file right before the final boss.

>Pirate game
>devs say that they allow you to pirate their game in hopes that you like it and buy it later.
>actually buy this game
>and never ever finish it
fucking Die More Teleglitch

This was the case with Prototype 2, wasn't it? I know the game constantly liked to pack and unpack data as it ran, where the pirated version had it already unpacked, or something to that effect.

Not what happened
The pirated version was full of bugs and glitches so they ended up just giving the site a fixed version so that their game didn't have a bad name.

>pirate game
>it spawns an invincible enemy that runs around at light speed instagibbing you

That's basically what I meant

>When will they return?
They mentioned at Mega64's Game Days that they're putting focus into "Tales of the Old West", basically a weird comedy western show idea they've had for a long idea, that they've been holding off on because they were busy with other stuff and wanted to wait until they had more clout. So probably won't be for a long while, especially if the show does end up getting made.
