Nope. Nobody is playing them anymore.

I'm playing a thief in gw2. It's pretty rogue-like.

well shit. what are we gonna do about this?
this image is not a roguelike but a very nice game

elona+ is fun

Is this a hexen/heretic roguelike?

shekels u gief goyim

vanilla bagel on steam. appears to be by some russian guy, dunno if its actually good it just appeared in an image search for roguelike and happened to be one of the few images that wasn't of dungeons of fucking dredmor.

game looks aesthetically nice but reviews are mixed and the rest of his releases are shovelware level turds.

Just started getting into UnReal World. Any tips are appreciated.

The only Steam roguelikes I can really recommend are Caves of Qud (Still in development and there's no victory condition at the moment, but still extremely playable and enjoyable), Unreal World (Can get it for free outside of Steam. They used to have the free version a few versions older than what paid users got, but since Steam sold well enough they always have the latest for free now which was enough to make me shekel them. Also not very roguelike but whatever this isn't /vg/) and those are all that immediately come to mind.

Dredmor's a big fucking mess, The Pit is less of a mess than Dredmor but still clunky, and ADOM is good if that's your bag even though the developer's kind of a fuck. TOME's alright too.

not even the /vg/ thread plays them

Waiting patiently for Stoneshard.

I like TOME4. It's easy to jump into every once in a while and you don't have to grind like an autist in that game to beat it, like you have to in ADOM. The game also has shitloads of classes in it and it has many builds to try out.

dont fuck with nerps
dont fuck with foreign traders
dont fuck with falling out of trees
dont be cold
dont be hungry
recruit victims to be your human shields in exchange for food

Cogmind as of late, been having a ton of fun with it.

the problem I have with tome is I have to do the same boring and easily predictable shit everytime i want to go to the orc lands in the east. I really hate doing the tutorial(everything before the east).

is cogmind worth the 20 buckaroos? I've seen it for a long time and it seems interesting but I've never read a really convincing review.

>tfw I'll probably never play Ragnarok or Reaping the Dungeon again

I got it when it was on a little sale after it came to steam, its been a lot of fun, its one of those games that gets more and more indepth as you play it and realize you can do all kinds of crazy shit

Played Angband a bit again. Found Gollum at lvl 4 and he was fucking unkillable prick who kept stealing shit from me.

bruther

Anyone here remember IVAN threads?

those were the good old days.

I am tired of lazy dev who put random shit that will fuck you over and force you to start things over.

>dat screentearing

cut off my legs with broken bottle
this is my last resort

Replace leg with a banana peel

thanks for the food kamisama.
cut em off again , can em up and try again.

I'd pray if i could stop slipping around.

I pass out and puke on myself.

good good. you can use the vomit to dissolve your banana legs and then pray.

To be absolutely honest i've been praying so much lately that i've pissed kamisama off.

I wonder what punishment he has in store for me and my leg stumps

Tangledeep's also okay. It's not great but the way the abilities are designed and interact is at least neat.
