Does this game ever get hard? So far I can just kill everything in like 2 shots. I mean the combat and stuff is fun but the lack of difficulty makes it a snorefest.
Does this game ever get hard? So far I can just kill everything in like 2 shots...
It gets easier the more you play.
There are three states in Warframe.
Faceroll, "Balanced" and Bullshit.
Faceroll is low level enemies with weak attacks. "Balanced" is mid-level enemies and your gear being appropriate. Bullshit requires the best weapons in the game and near max mods else you're getting wrecked fast. This is stuff like T4 missions in the void, long loops in Defense, and some of the really high-end missions. Even then you'll reach a point where you're getting one shot by basic Grineer. Game design or lack thereof rears its ugly head. But hey, they gave you more stuff to be distracted by!
How far are you in the game?
>actually shooting things in warframe
you're such a newfag user jesus
Thanks for explaining. So when can I do the balanced missions?
I'm just about to kill Vor. So far the missions feel like an extended tutorial.
It's been a long time since I bothered to play it, I'd say Balanced is level 25-35 enemies. 40+ are going to require stuff like at least half leveled Shield and Health mods, solid weapons and maxed frames.
How hard it gets directly correlates to how much time you spend grinding or how much money you drop on plat to get good mods. The only real control you get is the ability to forma and pick your polarities, can really make an ok weapon great.
>about to kill Vor
nigga you ARE in the tutorial
90% Of the starchart is a tutorial user.
bro, Vor is the first boss in the game. You've experienced less than 1% of the content.
good luck with that 5% damage mission result
If you get about 10 hours into the game and don't like it, drop it now user. The core game doesn't change much, there's nothing to wait for. There's no point in making a huge time investment if you're already turned off, you'll only grow to dislike it more.
>about to kill Vor
Here have a OwO
>caring about the mission result rankings
come back after at least 30 hours
why do you play it then? to run around while your teammates do all the work?
Not exactly, it technically DOES get hard but there are so many bullshit ways to completely break the game that honestly feel like exploits.
Like for example, last time I was playing I spent a lot of time as tree-frog girl, who had an invisibility spell that you could keep active indefinitely and could shoot from without breaking it.
Problem was you'd think they'd program the AI to react to invisibility if they put a fucking invisibility spell in the game, but no. The AI just runs to the general location where you killed literally 80 of their friends in a row and then just stands there. They don't try to blind-fire in your direction or anything. It's like having a cheat enabled that the devs never programmed around because it's your fault for playing with cheats, but it's a regular fucking skill.
The time I played before that, I played as Mesa and spammed her auto-aim insta-kill skill that could clear an entire room of end-game enemies before they could even react or shoot back. Before that I'd play as Valkyr and ran around literally invulnerable to all damage for 90% of the time with one of her skills. And before that I'd play Trinity with her team-wide full-heal that gave you and your team 98% damage reduction that you could also keep up permanently.
Nice balance.
Invis really does break the game. I rank a Loki with no potatoe and only a few duration mods into all spy missions because once you're invisible nothing really matters. I got ivara too, I just don't need her for spy since it can't really get any easier.
Oh it can, her augment means you can just walk through laser barriers. Also her 4 obliterates everything
Then again, most spy isnt that hard, I routinely use rhino as my spy frame.
He plays to get actual results. They have nothing to do with mission results. If you weren't a gigantic newfag, you'd know that the endgame of Warframe is 4 players standing still in a specific spot, spamming their skills non stop and seeing everything die around them, for good 40 minutes, before restarting the run.
The stupid stealth Mastery test is hard. For me at least and I'm not bad at stealth in other games.
Can she trivialize the Lua spy missions or is Limbo the one for that? Those are the only spy missions I have issues with at this point, those rooms get intense.
Get an invis frame, duration mods and just run around invisible. Turns it into not stealth, just a test to see if you can watch a timer and recast before anyone sees you.
>Bullshit requires the best weapons in the game and near max mods else you're getting wrecked fast.
To put it in more understandable terms, you either get geared to OHKO everything or you get OHKO by some things, and totally overrun by a horde of many things.
I honestly lost my interest in this piece of shit the moment they released Plains of Eidolon. Nothing feels the same anymore.
you can't get any results while running around trying to hit everything melee, idiot. the only newfag here is you justifying your low skill
Operators were a mistake
The operator, funnily enough, is the best for spy missions.
Void mode and void dash lets you just ignore everything.
>Does this game ever get hard?
more like does the game ever get good
the answer is no
More tedious than difficult
No, i like being Shinji.
What where they thinking. The game is made to be fast ninja jumps and they give us some shitty slow kid who you can't even see cooldowns for. What a rushed inclusion into the game.
>he doesn't play atterax with rangemod
Almost tempted to log in after a 2 year break just to show how OP it is
Almost.
