I've read Battle Angel Alita since I was a kid. The horrific mech gore really opened my eyes to how freaky the world could be, and even as a male... kinda feel sorry for this female looking robot, who was genuinely slimed and groped on after having her human brain cut out and nearly destroyed on multiple occasions.

Good to know it's been made into a live action "you go girl!" premise with all the shocking bits removed. It'll be praised as a proponent of modern feminism, when it was always genuinely about the character's own personal hardships without the "fuck all men" angle. And on top of that, it looks shit. What a shame.

RR said that it's James Cameron's idea, they wanted to push the idea that she was designed to look that way in-world and wanted her to be extra emotive as a PoV character. It's a risk, but James Cameron usually wins with his bets.

She's not human. It's supposed to be uncanny to remind the audience she's not human.

Nah, DS2 is fun for a playthrough every once in a while. DS3 just isn't fun ever. It's boring. All you have to do is dodge roll and you win.
I hear people complain about too many groups of enemies in DS2, but 3 does that far worse. I can't think of a single thing 3 does well at all.

Dark Souls 2 was bad and disappointed me heavily on release, but I can still accept it's values. Meanwhile I can't accept any values from DaS3 because it doesn't have any. It's safe and boring.

I had more fun in DaS 2 than 3.

Played all 3 Souls games on the PC, enjoyed 2 the most. Barely managed to force myself to finish 3 and I don't even know why.

Assassins don't reveal their eyes to their targets. Assassins remain undetected. Their eyes are irrelevant. You can't be so dense as to believe otherwise.
