For me, the sexualization is so over the top and cheesy, it goes back to being funny and corny as opposed to a turn on.

Because Bayonetta's design and actions all play into her actual character and theming, along with the game's campy, grody-yet-beautiful, playful tone, rather than just being "sexy for sexy's sake" and because Bayonetta is actually a good game.
Also, because Platinum doesn't give a fuck and by now everyone's realized this so nobody bothers anymore.

You can't fault a game like God of War for its excessive violence when every part of it is built around that violence and revels in it. Just as Bayo herself is 6 feet of SEX, Kratos is literally just anger and rage in a body. It's useless to complain about.

I'm glad someone else sees it like this. 2B is, quite literally, perfect. At least in the looks department. But she's broken (and not even mind broken), and I just can't fap to that sad kind of broken. I like her too much as a character.
